If you have master marksman already and a good weapon, then you can do what I did. I just hunted slice hounds and dire cats on corellia. I made like3.5k/hour combat xp doing that. You just have to be extremely careful as they're pack animals.

before the cat-creature nerf I got the last 25k whooping Kimas on talus with the grenade/bleed trick..took me about 4 hours. not now tho, those little bastards are fast now.

I'm trying to join the ranks of the Broken Commando's and i'm 30k combat XP away any suggestions on what to kill and where? maybe with what if you feel like letting me know other wise i'm going to have to kill like 1,000 womp rats

I liked hunting Dalyrakes on Talus near Daeric during the grind. It was fun, but expect long downtime and I wouldnt dare attempt this without a pet
