Commando Archive

Noticed that the 2.5 defense mod was....well....making me have to rely on my pet all the time to tank. And that I was generally taking big damage now, I dont have the credits yet for fancy armor. So I thought back and mmmmm...seems to me that when I was just a Master Marksman and all, I seemed to do much better at standing up to one of those Worker butterflies around Coronet than I am as a commando.
So I thinking well this certainly stinks, they will probably have to fix this...so I made a new character on another server, a marksman (pistol) and also with medic, scout, artisan skills too for survival at the start, will drop artisan after I get going good. And noticed that when I got to Pistol II and got a scout blaster, that I not only could take these things out just as fast, but that when I came in melee contact that I could stand up to it alot, and I mean alot better than my more advanced commando.
That is just not right....I will wait till commando gets fixed, again, and play the novice pistol rodian for now, cause the novice pistol rodian doesn't stink....what do you guys think about this situation?

Welcome to the commando world's most recent nightmare... Have fun playing your pistoleer since the dev's say the 2.5x melee mod is not going away any time soon. Sorry, I don't like it either.

nah, it just means you spent all those points for commando to be a master marksman with access to a banzai suicide weapon.
