Thread: I Have +25 Heavy Weapon Accuracy Modifier Bandolier. Does this do anything for me?
Bought it for probally way too much money but anyway
It was a looted item with +25 to heavy Weapons Accuracy and +25 to polearm evasion
Now i heard that if you add 2 skill tapes to something one negates the other, this isnt true in this case is it cause it was looted?
And when i look in my skill mods it has
heavy weapons acc: 0/25
polearm evasion 0/25
the question is my mods for HAR, FT, RL , HPBC etc... dont change
is this a worthless modifier or is it helping me out ?
I also have a right composite bicep i looted that give me +25 melee defense/+12 stun and +12 cover
and same thing it adds them all together, is this stuff workin?
IMHO the Heavy weapon SEA's don't work. Back in beta all heavy weapons had a basic "heavy weapon" skill mod, one for speed and the other for accuracy. They then seperated each weapon to have its own seperate mods. IE flamethrower accuracy, light lightning cannon accuracy, etc etc.
I don't *think* they work. But still very valuable. You could probably sell it for 200k+ credits.
more of the question like i said is it made a completley new skill category which i didnt have b4 of Heavy Weapons Accuracy. Now if this does indeed work, what is it affecting. Is it affecting the FT and HAR, going by bazaars they are Special Heavy Weapons and RL, HPBC, etc,, are heavy weapons
but like i said it doesnt actually raise the FT accuracy modifier or Rocket Launcher Modifier, it makes a whole new category
Yeah, the devs say that these are supposed to be working now. Problem is they are very difficult to confirm. Only way to test would be to log a ton of fights without this bandoleer on and note hit percentage. Then put the bandoleer on and do the exact same fights and note hit percentage. Compair the percentages...
I will tell you that wearing a bandoleer (or any wearable other than armor itself) creates a "hole" in any armor you are wearing. IE while wearing a bandoleer you may notice that approximately 10% of the hits you take do not get absorbed by your armor at all. I am basing this off several other people's data and data I collected over the past week. Currently I do not wear any backpacks, bracelets, rings, glasses, bandoleers, belts, etc and have only seen 1 hit in the past 2 days that went through an armor "hole." Previously I wore a backpack, belt, ring, and necklace and saw over 30% of the hits I took go through the armor "hole."
Unfortnately the devs said that skill mods should be working EXCEPT for those modifying skills that have been removed (so my business acumen +25 pants are useless because there is no longer a "business acumen" stat---though when I put them on I still get "Business Acumen +0/+25" in my skill box.
So the question remains did they do away with "Heavy Weapons" as a separate skill when they broke it out on a per weapon basis.
You need to (1) buy lots of bofa treats and good pet stims and (2) find a friend who will let you pummel his pet in exchange for all the bofa treats and pet stims. Then start shooting. Unfortunately, you'd need to at least try hitting it with limited use heavy weapons, like the lightning bean cannon, becase those are what the game calls "Heavy Weapons". Flamers and HARs are "Special Heavy Weapons". (Isn't the terminology reversed?)
I shoot my flamethrower no faster nor specials any faster.
Sorry.
