Thread: Just a tidbit
I was overt, knew I was going to die when I ported but was just being lazy so went anyways. I'm not mad that I died even though I was loading when it happened, but what I found interesting when I scrolled up on my combat tab after I finished loadingwas this:
??? misses you with his flamethrower
You hit ??? for 42 points of damage (was not holding a weapon at the time)
Target is out of range
Target is out of range
??? hits you for 1111 points of damage (this incapped me, so the next two lines confuse me, but oh well)
target is out of range (white font)
??? hits you for 837 points of damage (white font, wounds?)
Well, just thought you should see this, as this is the hard evidence that I was looking for on the dev board on one of the posts there. Now, granted, had I not been loading, the situation might have been diffrent, but the amount of damage is undeniable. I'm -lucky- to do 400 points of damage to someone as a master, not to metnion the legendary "target out of range" message we get anyways.
Just thought you should know how powerfull your class is, if you didn't already. Am I calling for a nerf? nah, I think it's ok, but Ihate seeing commando's complain on the forums that they arn't any good when faced with these types of numbers.
Actually,I think you move proved 2 oth very important points, though indirectly:
1) Pikemen really need some improving
2) People that wait and cherry pick others while they are loading in are wieners
In all seriousness, yes we do alot of damage but if Pikeman was working properly and had you not been loading in, you would have wrecked that guy after that first miss. Looks he was going for a special (which should have led to 9 seconds worth of him doing nothing while his flamethrower cooled and you happily smacking the tar of him)
