So I take a week and a half break, and what do I come back to? 2.5 melee multiplier, eh? So I guess that unarmed specialization counts for bollocks. Then the combat designer says the multiplier is in for good, but it might, MIGHT be lowered. No time soon I'm betting, since he also went on to say commandos are back on the bottom of the fix list.

I guess the complete overhaul of the commando profession in the last week of beta should have prepared me for something like this, but at least most of the other changes have made sense. This simply does not. It's pretty obvious they are just pandering to the nerf-criers, and I just can't pay to play a game where the best way to advance is to complain about the competition until they are impotent.

I'm outta here. See you guys on the forums until Oct. 30th.

Yes, i have dumped the points i had in HAR and HW and now just have FT4. I have alot of points invested in CH so in pve at least i can rely on the pets taking the hits whilst i set things on fire. So i guess it works for me to just keep the flamethrower line.

The CH/Flamethrower is a good PvE character, which is what i am interested in atm.

Yer in for a supprise Nvim. The CH's have been blessed with another headache. The wonderful AI in this game run from pets so offten I have /follow a mob to stay in range. If its a fast mob I have to call my pets back so they don't get over 80m away. Gotta love a game wherea bug fixmean diddly and nerfs are passed out like candy on Halloween. I'm trying really hard not to think of going back to master entertainer. /shudder the dancing is just awful, but the guitar is sweet.

Yeah, i know CH has a whole fistload of bugs aswell, but at least i can kill stuff without being violated by blue con mobs.

For tanking I use a mountain squill, it will not run. I dont fight mobs like bols that are constant runners, well, not by choice. Stick to ferocious type mobs and its plain sailing. I sometimes use a mauler, but for a beast that size he tends to run like a girl. Grand Wrix and mountain Squills are perfect for us. My wrix will hold up against five or six mobs and wont run.

Dont need any skill to use pet stim packs and the good quality ones heal over 1k HAM so its a perfect combo for me. I just go to each mob on my pets (can have 2 out now) and just flame them, if they run i call the pet back, once it turns back I send pet back and will feign death if its something big like a piket protector, because that hits **edit** hard even when i am not using the flamer.

There are alot of bad things in this game and many more that are not working, but i am still enjoying it, primarily because I have no real desire to hit master in any profession unless it provides a worthwhile benefit for the cost.

I am thinking about dropping commando for pistoleer, dump carbine and rifles but it wont really contribute that much for me for pve, its probably the way to go for pvp i guess, would at least get some defensive abilities.
