Commando Archive

Okay...first of all let me say since day one I knew I wanted to be Commando type. The allure of a guy who carried big ass guns, rockets, gernades etc seemed pretty darn cool. Firepower out the ying yang. Its taken me sometime to get to novice... I dont have the time to play to level quickly and I enjoy looking around, visiting Jabba (which by the way so far has been the best exper of this game for me so far..his quests that is.) and generaly taking my time. The worst part of getting here was basicly the unarmed tree...but it could of been worse. The pistol bleeds then engaging them took the sting out.

Here are some of my observations so far. I miss alot w/my heavy weap's. It doesnt matter if I have a bonus to hit due to range or not... someway or another I cant hit a mob w/a flamethrower from 2ft...lol. Ya gotta giggle at this. I'm most effective when I use my Launcher..nail the mob/target w/2 the 2 bleeds I have..and maybe a fire suppresion for the stance change then wip out the flamer. Then when they get close..pull out the Launcher when they get in real close. Hoperfully by then the critter has bleed abunch and my flamer hit at least once...

I have found that great armor is a must... otherwise you get chewed up when those mobs get close.

My acid rifle look real **edit** cool but.... its about as useful as a pecker the size of a donkey dong in real life. (Unless you wanna do porn... ). I'm gonna try and get one sliced for speed and see if that helps...as I have one sliced w/a Dm mod...but I miss so much and its so slow it'll simply mean I die w/my COOL looking Acid Rifle(why in the hell is called a rifle?) in hand.

My wife gets to hear me work on a new language now that consists of various screams, obscenties and growling noises when I get wailed on by some mob or 3 cause I missed 3-4times w/my Flamer...

So far..God help me I'm enjoying myself. I think its simply because I'm a glutton for hard core pain and grief.
