So I went to dathomir to see what I can kill so I grabbed any mission. It happened to be a Bol mission. So I trek my sorry Commando ass all the way out 1500+Meters....then the WP jumps 200-300 behind me, so I bus' a U and backtrack......

Now, the mission lairhappened to be in a TIGHT VALLEY, about 50-70m wide........yay! And even more fun is that it was a FOREST tight valley, yay!...And add to the alrady so evident joy, there was a total of 3 lairs in here...and they all happened to be Bol lairs.....yay! Now I didn't know if they BAF'd, but through my experience, I must assume that they are.

So here I am, with my trusty Flamer, examining the lair and surroundingsand thinking of what tactics I might use and which direction to run toward if I need to kite or retreat. So I send my adult GSP in to begin attacking the strongest one, the Alpha Bol so while everything is distracted, I can use flamesing2 or cone.......
.........and the instant I hit the attack command, I was witnessing the biggest warp-fest of my life...it was like a bad Ninja movie with teleporting monks and disappearing Chun Yao Fats..

I could not stay and target something for the life of me before they insta-warped out of my specials range. They BAF alright, so all 3 lairs bols werejust looking to pick a fight with us,and I swear some did a Dragonball style warp, where they appear for a fraction of a second, just a fraction, andknock me a good one in the back of my headand warp outto somewhere in the distance.

Im just following my pet and trying to attack with flamer anything that comes close.....man, it was like fishing, the GSP was my bait and the bols were taking nibbles at us and then warping away, nibble warp, nibble warp....and the flame specials do have a second or so to charge before firing..so I always got a "target out of range" message....Needless to say, I ended up incapped, twice..........3rd time after the incap-limit-before-death timer rolled over.

We ended up destroying it, and killing everything afterover 30 minutes, 3 incaps, 2 heart attacks, and a partridge in a pear tree. LOL, 30+ mins!...With a pet! I survived that long becausewhenever I got aggro'd I switched to Launcher Pistol and gave it a good warning shot.
Well, I don't blame Commandos though.......I blame the darn situation,3 extremely bad situations: Tight Valley, 3 total lairs of same BAF'ing creature, andFOREST.....ooooh how I hate forests....

Anyway, that's my story of the day with my Commando... =0). Now wake up!...

Oh, FYI, regular bols spawn about 3-5 or so..... =0)

I do the same thing on dath with bolma missions. Things warping all around me its all i can do to switch to the launcher pistol and get out of there. I also hate when the creature warps from one moutain to the next.

Dath is a godless country of lag these days.

Try a kamurrith(sp? really butchered this one) defiler or noxious kamsomethingorother mission, 2 spawns per lair and 2 everytime you tap it, they poison/disease so a pet or a miracle are necessary. Both on dath and they pay the same as bolma missions but don't seem to want to kite you like the bolmas do. Oh yeah, store your pet in transit, will take the poison off. Good luck.

...almost there....

For pure, unadulterated leveling, I use Yavin. GSP into a spider or kliknik spawn, let him aggro all of the critters, flame and run. Works with a rock beelte to.

Also, a nice mamien lair. Poke it once or twice and I can usually get 10-12 to spawn at once. Send in cat, run in make sure I give every monkey a health dose of flame and continue. Takes about 2 minutes.

How do you like your monkeys? Crispy or extra crispy?

bol lairs are easy, with proper technique.

this is how to do it.

SPOILER

1 stand still.

2 use your pet to attack one bol.

3 it will run.

4 call your pet back.

5 flame the bol when it comes in range, tell your pet to attack just before you flame it.

6 PEACE!!!

7 next tagert, repeat

8 watch them start dropping like flies.

Man. You deserve a medal..

I can't believe that anyone can do a Bol lair on Dath with just one pet. I've tried, really really tried. Those things spawn like crazy.

I stick the the Kamurith Defilers. Two spawn, six creatures. Easy money.

But Bols? wow.. Alone even .. double wow.

yes it is it should be in the commando tree lol i think we use it more

realy tho a commando shouldint have to use it but how gimp w r its the best frned we got besides panic shot wich dealys them for 10 sec just enogh time to burn and feign death thos to go ahnd and hand they rilly do if ur a commando useing a flameer

Everytime I try, and I've tried a few times.. they ALL aggo me .. and my pet is off chasing the orginal target on the otherside of Dathomir somewhere..Bols run like crazy. Maybe I've just been unlucky. I'll give it another shot though.
