Got master marksman leftover from BH, so what do I do to get GOOD Unarmed xp, and once I'm novice, good Heavy XP?

Good luck with Grenadeer, personally I dont think its worth it but that is not what you want to know.

Get a vibroknuckle, you are looking for speed over damage because without being a TK novice the damage its going to add is insignificant, what you want to do is get a weaponcrafter to custom make a few to be very fast and then take it to a master smuggler to get sliced and pray one of them is the speed.

You swing at around 4 seconds normally I believe, you can get it down to 1.5 seconds with a good knuckle, but on average you are looking at 2 to 2.5 seconds, even that is hefty improvement. The knuckle is an unarmed attack, it just boosts your speed and adds some damage.

Unarmed is generally slow, my advice is to arrange with a doctor and dancer to buff your stats and then just go out and melee whites and yellows, it will go pretty quickly if you are buffed.

Once you are novice commando you have two real options to get your skills up, the first is adopt the flamethrower and kill stuff in groups, if you are not the one expected to tank then you will do okay. I got to flamethrower 4 in a few days of constant use in a group.

Alternatively, if you are migrating from BH to Commando I would not drop BH until you needed the points, drop everything in BH except the LLC and pistol until you needed the points. You could use your LLC to get heavy weapon XP which you can use towards Flamethrower, Heavy Acid Rifle and Heavy Weapons, the combat exp you can use on the Grenade line. You can also use the Launcher Pistol to get heavy weapon XP and it would be more effective if you still had some points in pistol from being a BH. It really depends on how many points you have in other professions.

If you are going to solo I would rely on the Launcher Pistol early on, I have one that does around 250 damage in around 2 seconds which isnt too bad, blast damage is not a common high resistance and the pistol does not really have many range penalties and you can use it quite effectively both short and long.

With my flamethrower and a 3/2/0/0 CH pet you can go for a mauler with light armour and 75% kinetic resistance so it tanks and I do not have to be hit for mega damage using a heavy weapon, i can quite easily kill yellow con mobs or multiple whites, the exp flies. Even though the flamer is not the most accurate weapon in the world, when you start to get the specials the damage from the dots is more than enough compensation for its inaccuracy issues.

What I did was group with a droid and let it at my house (or town, anywhere will do, just don't get it destroyed). You will get bonus XP for being in a group. Then i killed crazed durnis on Corellia. I'm sure there's faster ways of getting XP by killing huge mobs but I don't know it. What I did was get Novice Gunfighter for Health Shot 2. I then Health Shot 1 and 2 the crazed durni, hit it once and run away. That way you get little damage/wounds and you still get all the XP. Just remember to hit it at least once unarmed.

As for the grenade line, it's not heavy weapon XP, it's combat XP which is tougher to get.

You may be right, I have never checked the titles, they do not interest me. From the title of the post I assumed she meant she wanted to play with Grenades.

I got my unarmed in about 3 hours doing this.

Get yourself enough med xp to use stim c's

Get yourself a rock beetle. Go to wayfar and have the beetle attack con reds. When they engage your pet run up and attack. Keep your beetle highlighted and heal it when it gets low. I made about 1300 unarmed per creaute. Dragonetts are the best but they swarm so be careful. If you see giant sand beetles you have meet your pay day the spawn from lairs in huge number and give good xp.

Ok, here's my suggestion... Get a friend who's a rifleman, and go to Rori. Search high and low until you find levisqualls. Big big bunnys. Quite possibly the slowest and stupidest creatures in game.

Get your rifleman to bleed one.. you run up and punch it on the nose a couple of times and RUN AWAY. This will gain you thousands and thousands of xp very quickly. I ground from UA3 to UA4 in a couple of hours. If you get your timing down you can bleed kite several bunnies at once, just run around in a circle.. well, a pretty big circle. This technique has the added benefit of preparing you to run away from melee creatures which will help you later on...
