Wonderingif Full Charge Shot(assuming it's /overchargeshot2 master marksman skill) is intended to be used at up to64 meters with a Flamethrower?

Saw some pretty big numbers come from players, Swiftgoat was shooting for 1057-1230 at max range(64m).

If it's intended more of you should use it, nice and cheap for a oneshot kill

It's just a good weapon. With a 580-1111 dmg 4.7 speed ft, I can do up to 1600 dmg from 64m. accuracy isn't real good but you will still hit.

Not sure why you would really want to use FullChargeShot when you can use FlameCone or FlameSingle to do more damage...

FullChargeShot puts excessive wear on your weapon... I only use it with the Launcher in very few circumstances.

Because full charge shot can do the damage at 64m, thus, keeping you nice and safe from that melee penalty (kinda).

Swiftgoat's my character, and I just felt the need to comment.

Apparently, the most recent patch made it so that you can use the generic Ranged weapon skills (Point Blank, Warning Shot, Supression, Overcharge, etc.) I may be wrong about that, as I didn't really start on the Commando tree until after thepatch had been implemented. If someone cares to verify or build on this, I'm all ears

While it is wickedly powerful (the only creatures that I've seen still standing after one shot with are the Mature/Elder Snorbals), it should be noted that the accuracy is quite poor, especially if the target is moving. I still can't believe that I actually landed that shot with both of us running...

I almost forgot, I'm on Flamethrowers 2 and would actually be very interested in hearing from a Grenadier that has tested this...

I rarely use the overcharge 2, it destroys the FT in no time. As for the accuracy, I can hit creatures running...both of us running...just about any sercumstance. i take anywhere from 900-1400 normal damage, and about 4-6000 w/ the Flamesingle 2. I advise you not to use OCS2 unless you really need a far away powerfull shot.

I do not use over charge shot for the reasons mentioned above as well. It causes the condition to drop to quickly. I do use Suppression shot from time to time though. It is a great way to keep your target from advancing.

I very rarely use Over Charge Shot 2 with my flamer. It has horrible accuracy (even worse than it already is) as well as drops the condition of the flamer by a large chunk. That being said, you'd be surprised at how much damage it will do assuming it hits. I've had Overchargeshot2 hit for 6142 before. At 64m that's a hell of a punch. My accuracy seems to hover at the 20% mark when using it at Flame IV though.

It also makes for a hell of a surprise in PvP if it hits

I've used OCS2 at Grenadeer and Master. Let me tell ya, if your willing to sacrifice a chunk of condition and the cards fall just right you can surprise alot of folks. I do have a bit of advice... tie in the /aim command with OCS2. This is not a shot your going to snap off quickly so the extra delay isn't that bad IMO. And there is a SIGNIFICANT delay when using it, pretty much on par with FlameSingle2.

My macro for OCS2 is:

/aim;

/overchargeShot2

Hope that's the right skill title for OCS2... make sure you check the spelling in game before typing the macro. Also, kneeling helps alot with this.

Hope this helps.
