Ok, so your putting in a fire extinguisher, fine, and your taking away defense stacking? Together that brings up concern to me.

With out having defense stacking that brings the concern up to me that now that people cant stack defenses, we will se a lot of them jump on a big medic bandwagon to where everyone stops bleed, burns, and so on. Not to mention that some people were not stacking to have insane defense but rather to cover a weakness.

In light of that, I got a suggestion. Why not just cap the defenses somewhere in stead of not letting them stack. This will keep some people able to have atleastreasonable defense through staking and maybe still invest the skill points there instead of everyone ivesting in medic.

Along with that, I think that the ability to heal in the middle of combat should at least cause a delay in your fighting, if not be reserved strictly to combat medics, but then to counter the DoT, incap, Dot, incap, DoT, incap problem, you would have to make it to where the DoTs go away uppon incap.

I think that would be more fair to everyone and make more people happy, maybe not all but more. Show us SOE really cares about our game experience by compromise, and I dont think these suggestions are that extreme of a compromise.

yeah this make a whole lot more sense b/c profs like BH, TKA, and commando get little to no def (TKA gets insane melee and ranged def but sucky def vs. ___) the devs should really consider this instead of just nerfing it

Now this I really like.

Yes a cap would make more sense, the same as weapons of certain types should have a cap *and I believe that is happening*, to leave people able to dodge and defend well... but not invincible.

Also the DoT gone upon icap would also be a nice suggestion. One I highly agree with; both a very good ideas, and sound ones as well

Oh, and the delay in combat for heals, thought that already happened. But I haven't been a Medic in a while; so I must be wrong. I would think that is a major issue, because healing should take up time like anything else. You make an action, there is some cost and risk involved.

What does everyone think?

Makes sense to me. (And in my personal experience, there is a delay in combat when healing depending on how I go about healing myself. Pet stims are on a different timer from everything else and are the only exception to this I think.)

Yeah, I think there is a dely on healing in combat now that I look at it, I've never used medic myself so i wasnt sure. But I ws just hinking it should be a bit more noticeable to make you more vulnerable while doing it.

But thats not the major concern. The concern is about being able to cover your weaknessses instead of exploiting your strengths. TH had mentioned something about the Incap, get back up, get DoT again and fall right back down and I think the idea I presented is a bit better than just a fire extinguisher. If you get burned right at incap, you wont get the chance to use it laying down so when you get back up there is still a high chance that the DoT will put you back down again.

So I say ending DoT at incap, and making thesse fire extinguishers work only for higher level medics may be more beneficial for both sides of the flame thrower.l

I could be mistaken, but it sure appears that heals in comabt go into the combat queue, though it's not seen in the queue window.

i.e If you want a heal to take place quickly, make sure there's nothing in the queue when you trigger it. Any specials before it in the queue will happen first.

Yeah, Give us some defenses if your nerfing the only thing we have that makes the class fun to play.....

We have 0 defenses and without any good offense we are just a bunch of targets.....

I thought thats why we had high damage output, because we have no defenses, guess I was wrong, we should all just be terds on the battlefield, oh well guess time for us to get flushed....

An easy fix to the everyone and their Mom using FT would be to move single 2 to master......was stupid not to be master slot anyway.....If you want the best FT shot, you should have to spend the same SP's as the rest of us to use it.....how gay
