I read and read and read about the stuff thats going to happen to commando soon apparently. I just want to throw out my oppinion about several things and let others do the same in a manner to get our points across without getting rude.

I am a Master commando on the radiant server

No more flame stacking DoT-

I think in all fairness and to suit true intentions of the developers, this should be gone. It truly doesn't make any legitemate sense that because you use flame cones 1,2 and flame single 1,2, that they should all burn seperatly.

I would like to see more done with the flame intensifying and doing extra damage if you use all four attacks.

With the loss of stacking there should be something added/tuned to compensate. Commandos truly do lack in PvP. Against a well armored and buffed opponent (wich I see 90% of the time when i head into pvp) a commando has little time to do a lot of damage. Due to the large delay of a the flamethrower, against a foe of any class you have to hope you did a lot of damage to remain alive.

Flamethrowers are also relatively innacurate so you won't even hit about 40% of the time in pvp when your opponent is on the move.

Fire Extinguisher/Flame-out -

I like the idea of being able to put out fire by using an item or eating food or whatever you want. There should be consequences though.. like if you eat the food or use the extinguisher it should cause a larger attack delay.

All in all, commandos rely heavily on their flamethrower to survive as a profession. Commando's are one of the only hybrid pvp professions thatwhen standing alone, don't compete well in pvp. I suggest if you are going to weaken the commando any more than where they stand right now, then you should tune it up in other aspects maybe to even out the loss.

oh and last thing.. I believe a lot of the player 'demand' for fixing the burn is due to plain out frustration. Its not fun being set on fire and getting wounded,... but its a flamethrower... its always been and always will be a weapon of great power. How much longer do you want to be alive while on fire and burning?

Ahead of time... I apologize if my post is a regurgitation of everything else on this board. I just wanted to get my points out without having to read every other post.

Thanks.
