Thread: Are we realy being Heard?
I believe I mentioned it in another thread (not sure, I've made so many posts recently) that yes, every profession was asked to get their Top5 in by Friday at the latest...The 10 Questions never had a set date, I just wanted to make sure they were submitted ASAP...
And yes, I think our Top5 will have some presedence over some others...the reason I think that? Well, TH expressly said to me that he was looking forward to our new Top5 because he hoped it would cover issues that SWG had hoped the Combat Balance would resolve. He mentioned that it was going to be a focus of their team to see what can be done for us now rather then later because of the delay.
Apparently the Comabt Balance was going to give us a bunch of changes all at once...not it seems, at least in my opinion, the game plan has changed to giving us bits an pieces of what was meant to come out in the Combat Balance while we wait...they just want to know, via our Top5, which bits and pieces we want most...

Translation: If the 'Commando Top 5' are issues that arecovered in the Combat Balance patch, then they can justify their 'wait for the Combat Balance' speech.
This game should be re-titled "Star Wars: A False Hope". I dont believe a word of that 'now rather than later' bit.
They see usas though we are a bunch of hungry dogs milling around their feet, and they throw us a mangy bone and smile benevolently as we start yapping joyfully.
Well, not this dog. My hunger is reaching the point where i will bite their friggin legs off. (i.e. cancel my account)

Hard to say...TH set the deadline for all profession to submit them on Friday...as mentioned previously I submitted ours on Wednesday, but that doesn't mean he looked at ours early...My guess is that TH now has to sift through all the Top 5 lists this week and get them off to the Programmers for review. The programmers will probably then return them with comments on what can and can not be done as well as how long each alteration would take. From there I bet it goes to the Devs to decide what impact the various changes will have on other issues in game and so on...
I doubt we'll hear much before the end of April...Although I will be very pleased if we do hear something...And of course I will keep bugging them (in a nice diplomatic way of course) until we do hear some feedback...
Again, my current focus, while we wait for hopefully our own focus month revamp, is to get fixes for us in various mini-publishes/patches.
