Thread: Can't Take What I'm Giving
I'm a 3342 Commando.
I keep my H&A just over 700, my mind at 800 and enough sub-stats to wear my boots, pants, chest plate and lid comp.
I also keep a good supply of quality stim b's. I can geta heal for 600 on health and action from those with Novice Medic. It'll also teach you not to spam flamesingle as you don't want to be waiting another 7 seconds for the queued heal the cycle through.
If you have only Flames2 (you've got flamesingle1 and flamecone1 so I'm taking a guess here) it will be worth clearing nests that con blue for a while - rapid shaupauts, falumpasetson naboo, slice houndson corellia. Just until you get the good accuracy and speed mods from Flames3.
Good luck.
Alright, alright. I was trying to avoid the need to rely on buffs ![]()
Cheers for the tip about melee though Mikail, I'll bear that in mind.
Gah, give me an edit button! Just realised the original poster stated that he had flamers1 and made no mention of flame cone at all.
Ok, you wont hit anything until you get to flames3. Then you get some real accuracy and speeds mod and don't sit there for the panicky few seconds between shots. Sentry hermit spiders on Naboo really, really don't like fire. Keep clearing nests or head out in a hunting party for something big (not rancors though, or Geos - check stats at http://www,swg-creatures.com)
Screw the mission terminals. If you want money then you'll need to start some faction missions. In the mean time run around and kill everything you see. My playing field is the south-east corner of Naboo. There's the Narglatch cave there (POI) and if you have someone to tank them, or a buff/med bot grinding xp behind you you'll be well away. There's a vernok cave as well - not in POI - I'll post the co-ords tonight. These are much easier to kill, giant apes, and to top it all off the flame DOT animation is right above their arses.
I used to have a couple of harvesters dotted around the SE of Naboo and would walk between them just so I could kill things on the way.
I'm sure other commandos have better advice.

All great advice. Thanks. As for the creatures to hunt, how does one go about finding these creatures on their respective planets. I find that the mission terminal only gives me a small selection of different creatures to hunt from. Apart from having a ranger with you, how do you pinpoint the location of these creatures in the wild?
Thanks
your right that it only give a small selection, but the creatures you get on the terminal are relative to your strength. Therefore the larger the group you have, including pets and the like, plus what each person has equipped will give tougher creatures. If the spiders are too low for a flame thrower then they may or may not show up on the terminal. You might want to go unarmed to find them. Anyone have something else to add on this?
To re-iterate my personal preference: you can never go wrong with quenkers (especially savage ones).
