Ya i am just finding this out lol. Some good strategies can come from having all these moves at your disposal.
unfortunately..since our Special Heavy Weapons normally are more expensive than other elite proffessions...overcharge 2 sorta hurts a bit..
and Null...the main reason why there isnt a discussion of tactics here is because we still dont have a clear purpose and still need an overhaul...the biggest tactic on these boards is how to dabble to crate a template that actually makes commando useful (yet in doing so..most ppl find out commando lags their template down...if Master...not the dabbling Flame IV's)
Also...a big point here...do most other elite's *have* to go down their pre-reqs and use MM skills? No..but they have an option to do so...but most prolly dont as they have better and stronger attacks
With us...we dont have that such option. (and yet we're a hybrid..suppousedly stronger..take more SP..yet have less options in combat...)
Point blank area single is the attack most often used by pistoleers when they are leveling. It is an even better tool for leveling commando.
Walk up to a savage quenker lair (get buffed first), target the lair and start spaming PBA1. You will get all 6 quenkers in no time and they will die almost as quickly. A fast and easy 22k exp.

hum its ovious you just came up with this and have actuly never tryed it

why becous they seem to suround you and get behind you more often then not wich means 90% of the time your still only hiting 1 doind same dam as cone 1 but with no dot
Maddogs, you don't know what you are talking about.Not onlyhave I been using it for the last two days, but it is the most suggested way to level on the Pistoleer boards.It makes no difference if they are behind you or not. This is not a cone attack. It targets everything that is in melee range.
But, just to be sure, I logged in again, pulled out the FT and wasted a hurton lair. I even purposefuly moved around so most of them were behind me as I used Point Blank Area 1 on the lair. Guess what? They all get hit.
