Thread: Come on, PUT THE BEAM RIFLE IN ALREADY

The pistoleers got their republic blaster cert an ETERNITY ago after that weapon wasn't usable to them. Please just give us a cert for this, and a few specials. Throw them in the Field Tactics line why not. Throw them in any line and fix the titles later. While you're at it, make the HAR specials a dupe of the flamer specials.
Devs, you can't tell me this is complicated. Just change the numbers. At least the HAR part is ridiculously easy to fix. You could fix the HAR thing if you had one guy stay late on one evening. All it takes it manager saying to monkey..."Hey monkey, change the numbers on the HAR to match the flamer."
That's a daily update, you don't need to wait for a full patch. We know we're not getting an acid DOT, you can at least equalize the special damage.
You know that what you really need to do is combine the flamethrower and acid lines, and add at least a couple of weapons that have been requested here to the new fourth line that'll be empty. But that's time consuming and we know it's gonna take you forever. So in the meantime, at least do these this.

oh and we need some mods and specials for the launcher pistol.
COME ON GUYS GET IT TOGETHER ALREADY. Other professions keep getting more weapons, patch after patch, JUST FIX THIS STUFF ALREADY.

I and many others definitely agree...We want the Beam Rifle...
But we definitely don't want to rush the Devs on this one, otherwise we either end up with another LP (no skill mods or specials for the weapon) or we end up with another HAR (weak use, wrong restrictions and poor cloned specials)...
I have already brought this up many times with the Devs and its something including in our Top 5 (along with improving our LP with mods and specials...maybe it's own tree)...
