Hi friends,

Okay, normally am pretty good at deciphering the acronyms I see on this web site. However, there are a few that I'm not 100 percent sure of. Can you please help a fellow commando out?

AOE = area of effect? This is my best guess from what I've seen of a in context

DoT = damage on target? Again, this is my best guess

and finally, I've seen this in several places and I'm just stumped

AP = ??

Acontext I've seen it in comes from Garvin's sticky thread on the problems with the HAR.

"Like the FT, the HAR has no AP "

Normally I think of AP as "apprenticeship points," but that just doesn't fit the context here.

/confused

AP is usually used for Armor Piercing...as in AP1, AP2 or AP3
