I would like to see the flamethrower and LLC both fall under the same skill. I think Commandos and Bountyhunters should both be able to use either one of these. If only to allow for a bit more variety within the classes. If you see a commando you pretty much know he's packin a flamer and if you see a bountyhunter you know he's carrying an LLC. It's too predictable.
Also, what's with using unprofficient weapons. If I use a plasma cannon I find it pretty ridiculous that I only do 1 point of damage just because I don't know how to operate it. Give me 80% less accurasy, I don't care but the weapons damage shouldn't be so hugely effected. If I drop a thermal detonator on some helpless Jawa he laughs in my face. By the way I'm a bountyhunter just in case you were wondering.
I don't mean to diss you guys or anything, I like commando as much as BH. So if you don't like this idea that's ok. I'm simply trying to find a way to diversify a bit.

We have a another special heavy weapon - the heavy acid rifle - which is the exact same as the flamer except slower, lower damage, higher ham cost, and no dot. That would be why you always see a commando carrying flamethrowers.
I like your idea of adding versitility to the classes, but they would become too similar imo.
