Thread: How many jedi hot fixes are we going to see before they throw us a bone?

This the 4th jedi hot fix in a row.
Why can they not just throw a +25 flamethower speed hot fix in for us? Since the system is borked already and they are throwing it out with the Revamp, what harm would it do to give us some speed in the mean time?
It would make life a little easier for us and it would take almost no time to do.

because that would be too easy... don't you know the # 1 motivation in life? you must alwaysmake things as difficult as possible.

I remember it being said that there were supposed to be hotfixes that address coorespondent issues and stuff. Small things to hold us over until the revamp.
I dont think ive seen one for any profession besides jedi.
I'd like to know what happened to those.

Lol I agree, but the DEVs only worry about the Jedi now because so many people are becoming Jedi with the new unlocking system. They leave all of us out.

What is sad is just how bad Jedi is considering two major patches (three, really, if you count the original patch to get them IN the game) and many many hotfixes, and its still screwed up.
/shrug
They fix one thing, and break 20 other things while doing it. They apparently do NOT understand the purpose of Test Center. Its like they are putting band aids on a leak at the Hoover Dam.
The CB/R, honestly, scares the crap out of me. They couldnt get it right the first time (a la Jedi, the transition from Beta to Live), what could POSSIBLY make me think any different?
I will conceed that this is my first MMO (its not even an RPG anymore - there is no such thing as grouping except for base raids), but from a business point of view it is the most POORLY run business I have ever seen.

I don't think jedi are bad, I just think that when jedi whine, the devs listen and they ignore us when we have issues.
Secondly, I think that any jedi that thinks jedi is broke, needs to come play commando for a while and get some prespective.

Assuming your post is directed at me...
I have had a Commando for 12 of 15 months playing this game. I am well aware of the Commandos problems
Jedi IS broken, although it worksbetter than Commando (for instance, it works well against ranged, but against a TKM it gets waxed - so ithas a one up on Commando) I will conceed that Jedi has gotten alot of love, and there is nothing I can do about that. However, it appears the main point of my post flew over your head....Three major patches/multiple hotfixes to ONE profession and its still busted. That was my point.
Do you have a Jedi? If no, then you would really have no vantage point to offer is Jedi works or doesnt work correctly (along with the issues that go along with Jedi outside the prof).

Yes i have a jedi. I am not to knight yet but am getting close.
My point was the DEV's need to stop working on the jedi and give the other 12 broken professions a little help till the revamp gets here.
I disagree with you that jedi is broken. I think a great deal of jedi simply expect to press one button and kill everyone. Jedi may not be as powerful as some would like but the professions generally work.
