Splash damage from a rocket launcher sure will!
Wow do large turrets sure pack a punch. One shot incapped, next shot dead. I drew agro and I wasn't even shooting at it. I was hitting the guy next to it.

My answer for getting a Turret's aggro off of a Jedi is for the Jedi to be killed.

So many good suggestions in this thread... The only thing I could think to add would be to try and set the jedi on fire while they're getting pounded by the turret.

Sadly, I don't want the Jedi killed. They are the only people who don't go down in one shot from the turret.
It is odd how the AOE from a rocket, that does no damage to the turret, will draw the turret's fire to the launcher of the rocket (me). One would imagine that 0 damage would be less of a threat than several Jedi with lightsabers but I guess I must look like an easy target to turrets.

Turrets? Heh talk about regular ol' Battledroids in the DWB!
A group of 8 with 2 outside groupies (of the whole party there were 4 jedi...40% of the group). In the VERY first hallway right before the FIRST door, we all died from three battledroids. This was with 2 jedi healers healing for 1500 every few seconds or so. I was the very last to fall (I was wondering...where the heck everyone was! - They were on the ground, dead). One guy escaped I think though, as I drew the aggro of all the BD's...
That place now is insane...and is also now one of my targets for my attack binge.

Hmm. I thought rockets didn't do splash damage? I used them successfully to avoid AoE while grinding heavy weapons XP - it was my weakest weapon, but all the others I had were pulling area aggro.
Are you sure someone didn't just go inside and man the turret controls?

I
It wasn't at a base. Essentially Rebels and Imperials just started dropping turrets outside of this town and just going at it. When a turret went down someone would replace it until the Rebels controlled all the spots to place turrets and wiped out the Imperials. It was a lot of fun.
