Thread: commando weapon effects

from picking around different posts here in the forum i've read that:

rocket launcher has knockdown
acid stream launcher has AOE, Blind
flamethrower has AOE, fire DOT

are there any other effects built into commando weapons?

Yes... all commando weapons carry with them the inherent ability to create havoc and mass genocide... of yourself and your group members due to spitball damage values and a continent of AoE.


The RL is also AoE, the LBC has a chance for a flame DoT, the grenades each have their own. I.E. Cryobans will snare everything in some ungodly 70m-ish range for a split second (read long: enough to realize you just screwed up bad by throwing it at a lair and watching the nearby critters get their jollies off on the tag team... probably like 3 sec snare or so from what I have used), Glope Blind, Protons have a flame DoT etc.



Each weapon tells you what it's innate special (party favor before the mass suicide of you and your group) will do if you examine it and read it.
