Thread: Last chance to respec I need some help guys plz.

This is the template I am considering plz let me know how you think it will hold up in PvP, PvE and even how would it work in the quest to unlock ur Jedi character?



Master Commando, Master Carbineer, Pistoleer 0030, Smuggler 0030 and (Marksman 0444 Brawler 4000)



I bought the game upon release to be a commando but went TKA/Master doc route since nothing worked at that time.

I want the Carbine for the Battle armor mig bonuses ( going to get a full set of Katarn armor) and some good specials; Pistoler for a couple roots and Smuggler for FD.



So what do you think? the MC and MCommando I really want but the rest I am open to changes if you all have any suggestions.

doc 4/0/04, plus master rifleman is really popular as a backbone.

ok I can see the usefulness of having some medic skills...i used to be a Master Doc but they have changed things so much.


How is this template:


Master Commando

Master Carbineer

Marksman 0044, Medic 0410

Combat Medic 4000


how do this one look? will the carbine skill work on our Heavy weapons?


I know your all sick of template questions but I just re-entered the game and feel a little lost.

I don't think you have enough points to do that...I have a Master COmmando Master Rifleman and can only have 1 other novice skill with one box in it...I would drop the medic and get scout with exploration 1 and then invest in some stims

I've been trying to decide between Commando and Bounty Hunter for a while now. To be honest, I think the only reason I'm a BH at the moment is because I can say that I'm a bounty hunter... I've never hunted Jedi or anything, I just like the idea. I had initially (namy, many months ago) wanted to be a commando, but never did for some reason, but I think now might be the time to give it a shot.


My current setup is:


Master Bounty Hunter,

Master Pistoleer

Carbineer 4-4-x-x

Marksman x-4-4-4

Scout 4-x-x-x


This leaves me with a few points left which i might get round to putting into a FS tree.




My alternate idea is this:


Master Commando

Master Pistoleer

Bounty Hunter x-x-4-x

Marksman x-4-x-4

Scout 4-x-x-x

Brawler 4-x-x-x


Which will again leave me with some (3 i think) possible FS points. So, what do you guys think to my new setup?

well, im not a commando anymore, but was thinking of coming back with the token respec because i still like the profession. i know it probably wont take out jedi in duels like im doing now with melee, but its just more fun. the template im thinking about is:


master commando - master smuggler - CM 4000


this gives you all the commando weapons (fire dot too) with the smuggler specials (root, KD, snare), and the smuggler abilities such as slicing and spice making. im not sure, but if the flamethrower is an area weapon, then root would take multiple targets at once, right? same with snare and KD i would imagine (last ditch area would be nasty with pvp grouping). CM gives you healing, and an extra dot if you need it at all. you could also be able to wear all types of armor, with restictions only on battle. you also can have both revamps when they come out (when pigs fly)




Infusion -Starsider- TK / Swords / fencer

Hi Mond I have an alt that I am going pure melee with...planning on TKM and Master Pikeman with MB as well. Last time I was a melee was over 1.5 yrs ago. Has melee become a true viable combat template or is melee still a gimp'd pathway to he*l.
