Thread: geo cave

does any one else besides me have a problem in the geonosian cave. i walk in, get killed in one or two hits(im 0-0-4-0) while i watch every one else kick, especially tera kasi. i guess im just goin to get fencer for a little defense bonuses.

the Geo caves are pretty much impossable with a flamer... as eveything has like 95% heat resist...


but /flamecone2 is very good attaking down geonosians when there are dead one son the ground in the pathnof the flames... the AOE bug...

ithink that since we have unarmed in our path to becoming a commando we should have more defense or more unarmed oriented attacks for a skill tree (i realize this has been a in other forums)

Is there a guide for any quests at the Geo Cave on Yavin IV?? I have a lot fun dying out there, but it would be more fun if I had an idea of what I should be trying to accomplish. Any help appreciated.

you do not get to accomplish any quest or recieve any badge at the Geno cave.

its just a high-level loot dungeon or elite prof grind locale.

choose ur poison.

hmm id like to say im nearly master fencer(4433) for the second time and just went to the geo cave and i can take out a ton of crazed genosians at a time.... but im hitting the other things like the enhanced k???? and the other enhanced thingy (no idea on spelling) for crap... with 1hand hit 2 im doing about 130 damage with a 290 max damage gadaffi... i cant remember what my damage was when i was master and used 1hand hit 3 tho... but still... i know where not a offensive class... but cmon 130 damage to something with 26k ham or more? i dont read the boards much so if this is discussed already sorry and am i doin something wrong? if so PLEASE help me lol


PS i remeber going here with master pistoleer and BH pistols and owning most stuff in it

Enhanced kwis and klikniks, in fact most of the creatures in the Geo lab have *at least* Medium armor. As a Fencer we have no armor piercing. Use your gaffi on the droidekas, they fall pretty quick. Use a good stun baton if you have one, on the klikniks and kwis. It'll still take ages to kill them because of armor, but if I remember right they have lower stun resists.

i dont have a good stun baton thats why i was at the geocaves... in search for a ackley bone i think my 180 max damage stunbaton does the same damage my 290 gadaffi baton does not sure

the best i can suggest is maybe get a fewdamage power ups for your stun baton or gaffi and bring along a healer or a few buddies should make the cave a bit eaiser and if you want ackaly bones your gonna die a gruesome death cause ackley himself is almost impossible only a swordsman with a good power hammer could do it alone but even he would need a goodCM pumping out heals on just about every turn

Ok, ON Kwi's and Klikniks (And anything else in the geo caves), EXPECT bad damage. Fencers dont get ap, as stated already.



Best bet to kill the Kwi's is drag em up to the top, to all of those jedi and other afk-grinders. With luck, one of them will help you kill it, or, better yet, get off you, and kill all the Afk Nit-Wits =D


A swordsman can easily solo the entire geo caves, and he doesnt need a healer to do it. I was able to solo the geo just fine with 70% ubese. Only time it was an issue, was when several klikniks started to do that ranged attack, that hurt.
