Hey everyone i'm tired of my professions and i'm going to become Master Commando, Master Teres Kasi and a bit Smuggler. Commando looks really cool,i mean you get to use rocket launchers and flamethrowers, but apparently it's alot of hard work. Is it? And if so, does it pay off when you're master Commando? I've heard they're the most feared profession in the Galaxy.

Appreciate if you could reply to this cause quitting professions is quite a big deal.

I happen to seriously enjoy being a commando. I couldn't tell you of the benefit of master over anything else though as I'm not a master but what I've experienced so far has been kick ass. I don't find it all too difficult as long as I take my time and don't pull aggro from an entire camp either.

geting to noveic is hard but the rest is esy

commandos trees are not any good exp the flame line and partly the hwps line tho

master is ok but could use a boost

commandos are grate pvers but sucky pvpers

so if your a pve all the way with commando but if you love pvping im sorry to say buts skip commando

once you get flamethrower 3 done, you can hit pretty decent.
i have a load of fun beating up imperial missions with my commando stuff.
i racked up close to 1m heavy weapons points one week just from blowing everything up

mmm, faction missions are great. Good payout, good experience, and faction points. It's the only way to level/ Well, not really but it's my prefered way. As for needing flame 3, you don't really. You just have to make heavy use of the /aim command. In general I found at flame 1, if I used /aim 3 times consecutively before using flame single1, 90% of the time I'ld hit. At flame 2, using /aim 3 times consecutively is about 97% accurate and 2 times consecutively is about 85% accurate. I've been killing all kinds of critters and npc's with my flamer when most everyone tells me I shouldn't be able to yet. I owe it all to my insane use of /aim. It's my friend.

Note he said he was going for teras kasi too... so i guess pvp wont be a problem

yeah i just got novice commando, and u know wot i love it!!!! the weopons are absolutely awesome, i really enjoy the game now, even though it was a struggle getting here. being on hunts now rocks!!! cant wait 2 get my flamer xp up!!

question- can someone explain the rocket launcher 2 me, as im not sure and dont understand the whole thing. i found a crate with rocket launchers in them but how do i equip and how does it work

I really don't understand why everyone says commandos suck for PvP, I think they're great for PvP. Atleast, they'rea lot better than TKA because you don't have to get AS close. I just went on a raid on Anchorhead and I took out like 7 people, a bunch of them just with one hit kills. You don't miss all that often, but it's pretty bad if you do, because you have to wait like 8 seconds, and by then they will have probably gotten you. And commando is definately the best profession for PvE. I've just mastered commando, and what I've recently been doing is just getting some good buffs in all stats, and then accepting 26k missions on dantooine and soloing them easily. Great way to get money.

It was definately hard to get to commando, and then hard to get the first level in flamethrowers.. but after flamethrowers 1 you're all set. If you plan on mastering commando, get flamethrowers 4 first, get buffed, go to lok and do gurk missions all day. You can get millions (literally, I'm not joking) of heavy weaps XP which can get you all of acid rifles and heavy weaps, then you should have Field Tactics 2 or 3 by then. Finish up the rest with C22 frags or whatever suits you best. Just remember to stay away from your target when you use them, I've been incapped many a times by getting too low on my mind and then the splash damage from my own grenade knocks me out. Also, you can get combat XP for your TKA tree by using grenades. The only good thing about mastering commando is the boost in FT accuracy and Flamecone 2. Not a great bonus, but fun to use.

Hey guys thanks, i've never known any other professions to be so helpful.

I am a master commando, TKM and Smuggler 0/0/3/0. I am devistating in PVP and PVE, i dont care what anyone says, commando is an awesome proffesion and with TKA you are even better. Since i dont use anything but FT and occasionaly a proton gernade,i am going to drop down to 0/0/4/0 in commando and drop smuggler. I want a better rangged and some medic again (i miss it). So i am going to be TKM, commando 0/0/4/0, pistoleer 0/4/4/3 and novice medic. Im going to see how that combo works out (pistoleer should be killer with my Launcher Pistol), if it doenst work for me then i can always just go back to my old combo.
