Last reply I received from the Devs regarding the droid bomb cert was that we have the Rocket Launcher, so we don't need the cert, where as Smugglers and Bounty Hunters don't have much in the way of weapons and could use it more...
I'm still working on this one...just because they don't "feel we need it" doesn't mean we shouldn't have it...It suits our profession...we may not use them a lot, but it still fits in with us...PLUS...it helps Droid Engineers by adding us to the list...that's another client they can sell these types of Droids too...so they make more money...
I'm waiting now for them to get back to me on my response to their response...I'll let you know what I find out...
But I was kinda thinking it was ironic when I first saw the news about it I was running around with my demolitionist tag on and just laughed that as an expert in explosives I can't blow up a droid Maybe what we need instead is a droid that wecan get to stand next to people and lob grenades at 
Give it really low dodge bonuses so we can actually hit it, and maybe catch people in the blast radius Omg...they're not giving it to us because we have the Rocket Launcher???
I bet when this publish comes out..these little mouse rats will be 5X more powerful that our RL
If they want to give a stupid excuse like that, then by hell, actually make our RL economically sound and usefull....
....realistically speaking..the RL is suppoused to bea rare and powerful weapon, at the moment its only rare, not powerful...if these mouse droids (bomb droids..whatever) are more powerful and cheaper than our RLs (or at least as powerful..) then what good does that do to our RL??? NOTHING
The RL, for its price and rarity, is pathetic...if they want to add a similar weapon to the arsenals of Smugglers and BHs..then by george, change and fix our version rather than giving a stupid excuse
