Greetings all!

1) I am not a holo-grinder.

2) I'm a TKM first and foremost.

3) Was going Rifleman, but my other character (aka Hologimp) got rifleman on 4th holo.

4) I wanted something new to do, so Commando it is.

I got some great support from my guild and was outfitted with a pretty good set of commando weapons. Currently I am 1/0/1/0 Commando. God! I am having fun with flamethrowers! I have looked over the profession, and WHOA! What happened to Commando? Sorry for turning in late, but this profession has been WAY nerfed! Where are the Defences, the def mods, ect? Not tryn' to be negative, I plan on at least going 1/1/4/0, but can't justify the points to master commando.

Is there a revamp in the works? I hope so. I already put the acid rifle away, and left most of the gernades at home as well, and the rocket launcher has been used once (hehe, HINT: don't drive your speeder near a covert scanner).

I look forward to participating in the commando community, and hope that SOE can can up with something worth making master commando worth the points.

It's not actualy had the defences nerfed, but improved. There used to be nothing in the Master Commando box, originally it was a total of 5 Melee, Ranged and KD def. But yeah, we're all screaming for a revamp.

I've been playing Commando for about 2 weeks now and I'm right on board with you. I'm sure the veterans have been saying it but I don't see any reason to drop points in something other than flamethrower. HAR? Why not go rifleman? Grenades? Ok seriously....I went out Rancor hunting the other night for the first time with Commando. No flamethrower?!(100% resist) So I blasted away with a lag pistol for days on end....I'm one more person on the wagon to fix this class.

I just started as Novice Commando,

Now I will have to re-evaluate the HAM I have setup.

Those dang Ole acid launchers eat me alive... But they sure do hurt your target....

As far as other weapons, I will only say that I plan on grinding out some boxes for the fun stuff.

Hi all! Re-evaluating Commando.

Flamethrower is just TOO fun to give up, so I'll keep commando. Did some thinking on maybe buying a tree from one of the other weaponeer(?) professions. Pistoleer caught my eye. For all of 20 SP I can get lvl 2 damage mitigation, 1 good singleshot (stopping) and a great AoE shot (fan), both of wich I can use with the LP (mine has a speed of 1.9). In addition, I pick up some crazy levels of status defences, woohoo!

One question? How the hell does a single tree in one elite profession outstip the entire Commando profession? /shakesheadsadly.

If catching things on fire didn't elicit giggles, snorts and grins for me there would be no point in being a commando. Please SEO, fix this!
