i was wondering if the commando profession is the best combat profession. please let me know as i want a strong combat profession. i have seen other commandos running around dropping sharnaffs with like 3 hits. i want to be able to do this so is this the best combat profession.

Commando is strong against low to mid level PvE, but is bad against anything with high heat resists, which is most high end content. Commando is one of the worst stand alone classes in PvP.

Ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a rocket launcher in your backpack.

okay lets say i want to go to dathomir and hunt rancors, what should i use.

Teras Kasi Master. You can dizzy and knockdown, can do360 degree area attacks, and have a higher DPS. And by rancors, I assume you mean enraged rancors.

TK/Rifle combo givesyou a ton of damg types, yea you can murder pretty much everyting in PvE and it gives you a solid PvP base also . TK /comm isn't half bad either the flame dot is nice in PvE but u don't get the range of damgtypes you get with rifle or the damg per sec a master rifleman can deal out

Heheh ya Commando is not the way to go Im sorry to say. The Riffleman/Fencer or what ever is the FOTM. Not totaly sure what your looking to do. PVP Is not a Commando thing.
