I am closing in on Master Commando, and I've been ignoring the existence ofHeavy Weapons. I haven't seenan HPBL, Acid Stream Launcher,or Heavy Lightning Cannonbeing sold and, obviously, I haven't used them nor seen them used. How are they, any good? And, are they useful in any type of PvE environment (I enjoy both PvE and PvP, just assuming they are used more often in PvP battles)? Or is the Commando prof ignoring them as a whole? I am beginning to think I will have to order them from a Master Weaponsmith, as Commando weapons probably exceed the 6000cr bidding limit on the Bazaar. Talk to me.
By the way, if you're in the Intrepid galaxy and have these intriguingtoys for sale, email me or send a tell, I'm in the market for big fat, ridiculous weapons of mass destruction. I love seeing Stormtroopers disintegrate (if you're imperial, insert "Meatlumps" where I said "Stormtroopers.")

I was a commando for 6 months and in that whole time, i very rarely used heavy weapons in a serious manner. Mostly it was to blow my friends up or hit an imp docs droid on the battlefield (droids have little defences so they are an easy hit, leaving the AOE to hit everyone else).
- For a consumable weapon, their damage is dissapointing
- The accuracy is horrible, making them only really effective on turrets, which usually kill you by the time you are in range to kneel and then fire
- Riflemen do more damage to both turrets and atst, even though our weapons are blast damage and their vulnerability.

the expendible heavy weapons are uncommon since weaponsmiths use a lot of resources in making them but commandos wont pay much for them because they disappear after however many uses, unlike the trusty flamethrower.
the grenades have their own problems too-with some types the commando cant throw the grenade far enough to escape the blast radius. Nice, eh?
Of course, all the commando complaints may be addressed in the upcoming combat imbalance! Stay tuned!
