A while back I was reading somewhere from TH's post that before Combat Revamp, You and a few other special select veteran commandos were going to test the commando changes before revamp in what he called it a "Sand box" type thing. Now what comes to my mind at this moment is the same situation the jedi have on the TC.

Is there any word about when that might take palce, or any details about it? I think it would be interesting that a gair amount of current commandos test out the system before its release and perhaps convince to get a few major points tweaked/changed when we see whats good and whats bad.

I havent been on the boards a lot.I've been busy applying for college, prom, and typical late night get togethers and random peoples homes sorry if this was already discussed.

I agree, I think that a "select group" of commando should go and test this supposed re-vamp. Basically, choose commandos that have been commandos for a LONG time. Also, the DEVs dont actually play the proffession they NERF! They get "reports" from other gamers (who if i might add are not even the proffession) and change it. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! they should make the lag with the FT less! This probably doesnt make to much sense, i couldnt find a way to put it. ALL IN ALL --I AGREE WITH YOU--

Last I heard the Devs have already started preparing the Combat Test Server...I would guess we may see it online in a few weeks here...

As for who will get to play on it, the Dev's have confirmed all Correspondents definitely...They also confirmed that some Veteran Players will also be able to play, but I'm not sure if they mean Veteran to the Game or Veteran to the Forums...

I'm definitely going to push hard to get as many of you as possible involved in this test...Even if it means I submit a list of Names to them directly...

As soon as I hear anything I will update everyone...the focus currently is the Jedi Test Server going online yesterday (spent the day today giving out Color Force Crystals...lol...

I'm putting together some info on how the Jedi Revamp is actually going to help us (and yes, it does have some things that help us out...Commandos, like most other professions, will be able to be "Force Sensitive"...Force Sensitive abilities "enhance" certain current abilities like Melee and Ranged Defense as well as Healing, etc...I should have more soon...

Heh, with our luck, no veteran commandos will end up there..Only Garvin looking lost without his commando buddies *grins*

I've beta'ed this game..And stuck with commando since I dropped SL, back when the devs proposed SL to become a "puppetmaster"..If we have anyone left who remembers that far back. I've mastered commando 3 times on my main, done the unarmed grind 4-5 times and working on that on TC..so I can have a commando there. And got a Commando on Bria...

Odds for me being in the CB "beta server"?..slim, uber slim. I'm a commando, they dont want us there.

Hmm, I hope I'm considered veteran. I really wan't to make sure the CB does a good job.

And I've got nothing better to do in-game right now anyways, since I've mostly been biding my time until patch 10, so testing stuff out would be alot more productive.

Heh....

<---------------------This is what I do till the Combat Balance and GCW Revamp. Playing a RP, Gimp Stormtrooper with a flamethrower and a bad temper. (the bad temper is really a commando feat isnt it? )

Try and push for me, please I'm an outspoken brat round here, after all. Priority should go to people who remember Garibaldi di Alia, as to who gets on CTC.

All I know for sure is that I strongly suggest anyone interested in the Combat Server, make sure you have a character on TC...and log into it at least twice a week...who knows, they may end up doing something like they did for TC2 (take a copy of TC and paste it, with everything included, into TC2)...When I logged onto TC2, I had all my weapons, armor, skill mods, etc. that I had on TC...so make sure you gear up and do a bit of grinding....and make sure you have a vehicle (that's a big complaint on TC2 right now...especially since Vendors are still down there...

So get going on a TC character...maybe even make sure it's the same name as the one you normally use on the Live server you play on (that's the way mine is)...

Yeah what garv told me earlier today....btw folks ive officially decided to actually level up my old TC wook named Kelan that some of you may remember that I used back when I compiled that little report on how decay would affect commandos (thankfully devs took out the weapon decay/didnt include it, etc)

Anyways...Im 20% done (in 6 hours!) with the pre-reqs starting from basically scratch...and will do my best to level up as quickly as possible to commando there.

Also..hehe..If im not considered a veteran commando...lol, been with the game since day 1 and commando 2 weeks there after on Chilly.... ...who is? (thats still playing! hehe)

I realize this veering off topic a bit, but with regards to force sensitivity, jedi, and commandoes I have this to say. If you want to be a force sensitive commando, I recommend picking up the defese lines, accuracy, etc. If you want to be a jedi, I would say go for defenses + crafting skills since you can experiment on light saber construction using a weapon, droid, and general kit and station.
