Thread: Heavy Weapos xp less?

I'm leveling commando with master pistoleer, so I am checking out the Launcher lag pistol a bit, ive noticed I get less xp than with my other pistols. When I use a DX2 on giant baz nitches, I get around 5k xp each, they are acid vunerable. When I use the launcher pistol, I only just get 3k xp, and they are also blast vunerable. Likewise when I use flamethrower, I get 3k xp as well. Anyone know why this is? --

Seriously? That's crap! Why the heck do rifleman get all the freakin' xp and kill rancors in 3 hits and kill everything *devolves into angered mumbling*

And yet interestingly enough we get 'more' xp for the damage we do than they do. (Allow me to explain)
I kill a kreetle with a pistol/carbine/rifle. I get 49 xp + 4 combat.
I kill a kreetle with any heavy weapon. I get 150 xp + 15 combat.
That's our advantage, we get more xp on smaller crap

All depends on the creature lvl compared to gun lvl. If you are a novice pistoleer/novice commando it would be the same xp.

That really stinks, it should definatly be adressed to in the combat balance. When I get the same xp for killing a quenker than i do for killing a rancor is just not fair. It makes taking on tougher mobs pointless besides loot, well apart from the fact that as we get more powerful the lesser mobs give less and less xp. But still a definate issue to be fixed, my #1(and for the moment only)complaint about commando.

Funny but Bounty hunters get Pistol, Carbine and Heavy weapons xp. You don't get the same amounts, so I still think I'm correct (unless you want to go with 'flamethrowers/LLC/HAR are all the exact same weapon level and they all just 'happen' to be higher than any of the other weapons are' which, come to think on it, still makes me right.
