Yeah, that's just something you have to live with, unfortunately.

There is something you have to remember when in any combat, is that the Xp you get reflects the amount of damage you do, and when you kill creaturres with only a few hit, they lose hams from primaly one pool, ( but as a pistoleer i noticed i hit so many times, that i am bound to hit all the pools a number of time bringing the total damage i do to the creep up, =ing more Xp.... I could be wrong but that my thoughts

Theres also a very low xp cap for commando which makes levelling on anything tougher than quenkers a waste of time. You can usually kill them in one hit (so the DOT doesn't tick)and getaround 3k xp which seems to be the cap.

Problem is that the damage you do via your flame dot doesn't count as damage you've done (wasn't this supposed to be fixed in a patch?), so while you kill the mob, the only damage you get xp for is the damage from the initial strikes, not the dot's they cause.

Well they fixed the assignment of ´damage. Earlier i could DOT something with a pistol,
wait till it bled down to 1 point then finish it with Unarmed and get the full unarmed XP.
(Or any other weapon combo).
Now it seems that DOT damage gets assigned to no one. Unfortunately you get XP based
on the percentage of damage you dish out.
