ok i was at work and was just thinking of every thing commando so im gona just write my entire onslaught here....
im gona put all my existing ideas here to and just blitz the lot.
Minigun we want a high powered weapon then maybe the many time dscussed mini gun make it ap0/1 damage type energy but maybe a insane damage of like say 500-4000 giv it no special just let the weapon tick over so every 1 second it just does a damage between 500-4000 u say what but hey a rifleman can do 2000-3000 mind damage per shot so 4000 health damage per second would be no biggy and i dont think the pvp would would be rocked as of the high energy resists. aslo make it a master commando cert.
Freeze canon much like the flame thrower get rid of the gimped har and make a freeze canon much like the one from predator 2. cold is like the most unused resist type with only commando cyroban nades and rifleman sg82 aka the watering can. so to have a good cold weapon could be a good neiche weapon.
assualt rifle many have said about them giving them grenade options and stuff would be cool...
grenade launcher would be a good weapon to put our consumable grenade inside and giv us more accuracy and distance on them maybe ad bonus mods on the actual nade launcher it self that can be applied to when using the grenades.
could also be given specials like detonation shot firing the nade so it is time exactly over the head of the enemy delivery high amount of damage and disorientation(minddamge shot)
missle launcher works how i explain in a earlier thread :
well i tell ya what i want that us commandos should have had in the first place.... amissle launcher a real one!!!!
works like this firstly its not friken consumable! why should we have to pay for our weapons over and over when they miss most of the time any how! its should be ap 2 and should look like the missile launcher from commando the one that arnie uses...
we cant move with it when we fire it but basically we kneel down and can fire missle one after the other at 64m or less and get rid of that useless thing called a launcher pistol! it would be blast damage and giv it descent power and maybe a average speed of 3ish why should we be kings of blast yet out powered by some idiot waving a hammer about???
we could actually pvp ok we couldnt kite very well but we could role up in the battle field kneel down and take reasonally fast greifing shots at people and not be like headless chickens.... and at least giv it a kd if it misses the explosion would take them off there feet!

damage should range from like 200-450ish
could be given specials even maybe like multi rocket attack fire 2 missiles then another 2 after wards since it has 4 missle wholes..
or firestorm and fire a quad missle barrage they could then extend on that into different firing patterns to make are a attack like so:

so the rockets come out in a 4 spread being one special area attack or :

also just ideas on consumable on the overall why do they have to be consumable??? like we can carry tonnes of meat and hundred of rifles in 1 bakpak, rancors speeders and spaceships in our data pads yet we have to pay for things that never hit ther intended target.
maybe at at master commando level would could have infinite uses of the consumbles til there condition where out.... if u look at nades they have a condition even though that never ever comes into play?????
onto commando unarmed aspects
commando knives a route maybe? or just by maybe having the knife equiped the commando knife has unarmed bonus's and defense mods? like defesne against dizzy and kd's?
a unarmed tree has been looked over well i thought of some specials... maybe one
elbow smash: the commando smashes his ooponent straight in the jaw with a quik and deadly blow usually causing high damage (health damage) and givs a knockout effect leaves a dizzy status effect.
commando tackle: when things get too close some time the enemy need to be taken down and prompt... now for those who know any thing about fighting and watch ufc (ultimate fighting championships or pridefc) or even highshool wrestling freestyle a double leg is very effective but just for a more brutal title i called it tackle.... the commando does a swift tackle to his opponent and usually so much force has been thrust into his opponent it leads to a high chance of a kd.
then i thought of maybe commando specials in general
commando berserk: in films (Cornyones) you often see a commando running ontop of a mound waving his arm in the air and firing a m60 in the other shoutin "commandos!!!" roar and all that sh* Twell maybe a special that when used would work in the same way as unarmed berserk but with ranged weapons?????
commando aggression: a commando is so in the zone hes pain threshold rises and almost becomes machine like.... could maybe make u some what either resistant for a while to damage (melee only) or givs defense mods like defense against kd/dizzy
and now im gona just leave a why section
why can a guy throwing poison capsules throw more accurate and further than a guy chucking grenades?
why does a flame thrower miss a hand to hand combat guy ffs its a ball of fire comming straight at u... as a flame thrower guy its not exaclty hard to miss yet we only get like what17+ @ 0m???? like im sorry u can jump and dodge all u want but the guy will just hold his finger down longer and just point the hose straight at you!
why is the har so gimped compared to it flame counter part? like acid burns??? so no dot? umkay?
commando's r supposed to be fit guys but we have no terrain bonus now u gona say we dont got any novice scout but hey neither does cm yet they get terrain negotiation so what gives?
im not on the quest for uberism but these are all conflicting theories and thing that could of be implemented. not all of these would work with each other and i may have missed some ideas and stuff but please read and give your views discus and add ideas please.
ps this is not my version of a revamp just numerous numerous ideas splattered down in a mental blurt.

Nice blurting 
cant see us getting terrain negotiation -if we carry big weapons and are one of the only classes cert for heavy armour, expect us to be sitting ducks for fencers and tk
but if we hit them with our weapons before they get to us - they are dust..

Well, I'm not sure about the freeze cannon, but putting cold damage to the profession could be interesting.
The Minigun is an idea I'd like to see happen, as at long range commandos really suck. The damage would need to be less though, maybe have it the first full auto weapon.
Either have a minigun or make the launcher pistol good. Give some speed and accuracy mods in the commando profession along with some specials. I think a KD would be nice as explosions would level a person.
Rocket launchers need to be made accurate. No ifs, ands, or buts.
Passive stats: We need some KD, dizzy, and stun resistance. Just like BHs do.
Also, if Commando is ever made good, make it hard to master. No one day grinding crap.

Im totally with ya on the mini gun thing, I like the assault rifle but i think we can all come up with something better than "just a rifle". Like maybe a rifle with some sort of a grenade launcher attached to it - I dont know - some sort of spectacular rifle - commando specific.
Im all about a "solid" rocket launcher - with rockets being consumable.
Most of all I think in order to make commando difficult to master again - its not really tweeking commando, but tweaking the whole buff system. Ill admit - I took advantage of this - solely because SOE screwed me and i couldnt get my character back after being gone 6 months. So i learned how to level quick. The Old school way in the beginning took me like 3 months to attain master - maybe longer. I got my master back after dealing with SOE's mindless drones over phone and email in a matter of 2 weekends fighting solely quenckers on dant. I think it was a grand total of 10 or 11 buffs - or something like that. Anyway - I can see how you see a problem there. Something needs to change. It was far too easy to make my character all over again.

just another idea i thought about is that according to the soe info on the commando character is that we are supposed to be good against vehicles and turrets well maybe commandos should have blast migration 1+2+3 or just maybe simple extra blast resists???

Maybe a Blast specific tree - have the LP at the bottom - and progress up with several new different weapons increasing in Blast specific damage. Tell me if this sux - just thinking off your thread and im super tired.
