I am working on unarmed xp at the moment and the thing I hate about it is running around trying to catch up with the creatures. Also like many other posters have said, health shot is your friend. So what I did is created this macro.

/ui action toolbarSlot00 - put my pistol in first slot

/health -uses healthshot

/pause 03 -pauses 3 seconds

/ui action toolbarSlot00 -unequips pistol

Not only does this bleed them, it also makes the creatures come to me instead of me chasing them around.

The bleed shot will kill them just get at least one hit in and you get all unarmed xp. Working for me but I still have 40k more xp to get..... I hate unarmed

Another good idea is to group with a pet or driod and have it sit somewhere within 200ms. I get about 20 more xp for the low level creatures outside town doing this. Its not much but it helps.
