Something iv been thinking about, maybe if everyone likes it our corspondant can bring it up inhis next letter.

Right now the acid rifle is worse than the flamethrower, less damage, slower speed. Of course doing acid damage is a nice plus, but people will be getting more acid resists as the number of DSX pistols and such increase(in addition to those acid rifle users). What if the acid rifle single or cone was given an acid dot that had AP1. Think about the residue of the acid sitting on them/their armor eating away. Keep the weapon at AP0 but give the dot it does AP1.

Just a thought.
