THAT is what I hear from this guy after he duels me and I incap him. I tell him to wear armos he says "No". I say use some tactics and move around. ...He calls me a "noob". I inform him that the range of our flamespecials is 16m, and he rudely tells me "WRONG, I've gotten hit by that from 50m, stop lying"

That is when I paused for a moment. You see, I recently made master commando. And Since I had novice commando pre-patch I'm well aware that 50m for flame 1 or 2 is impossible. What I ask of you is have you ever encountered a bug or glich where that was possible? I doubt it but in all fairness to this guys assrertion I wanted to ask.

But it made me think...these are they idiots calling for nerfs. Not balancing, or proper adjustments of defensive mods, but full nerfs simply cause they refuse to adjust their playing strategy

I would make an assumption and hope he means he has been hit by a regulare hit from 50 meters and not the special, or else it's just that he is a crack head and needs to stop sniffing glue.

Aye, if he's a rifleman, he prolly has been downed at 50m with that melee/ranged but when he was prone. Other than that I doubt highly that he has been hit with a FS1 or 2 from 50m. I've come across people who've said that before, for the most part they are people who just want to see the FT get nerfed, and are screaming adn ranting and entirely misinformed, and just don't have the balls to say "Sorry, my bad." Don't worry bout it.

ima master comando and max rang ived ever ben abel to do a specil is 20 max now i do use my pbc at 50m tho one hit kill evry time if they ware no armor if they were armor dont wast ur shots and ya theres a tone of crak heds out there who r doing evry thing they can to get us nerfd lieing cursing u name it there doing it i even no some one who whent flam lv 2 just so she could grife in ah canteena to make us rebs want it nerfd to but she aso lost her 3 atsts to my flamer and she is a zabrak so it cost here more to get thos atsts lol and it rily mad her mad that i killed them all with cone 2 hehe yay for me die stubed atsts

Heh, that was one sentence? Sorry man, but that was pretty hard to read.

No, it wasn't even a sentence. It had no capitalization, no punctuation, and more than half of the words were not spelled correctly. One could argue that it was not even english.

I think the 50 meters thing is because his client was lagged (server side, you were at 16 meters, but on his client is still looked like 50m). This is one of the problems on the tka forums I think. ("I'm getting hit for .... by a

when there is alot of lag and someone/something is chasing you, flame specials have worked at 30-40m for me. This is no lie and other commandos have agreed with me.

actaully NO they are not hitting at 20 or 30 m its the lag issue as someone stated. When the target is out of range then quick moves into range then gets hit, but the lag issues that result from the server not being in prefect sync with our home systems doesnt register the correct range distance for a couple seconds.

Thus it may look to the commando and the target that they were hit from 20, 30 even 70 or more meters depending on ur connection and system. And we know that you cannot hit over 64m but i have had people adamently state that commandos have over 80 m, which is absolutely wrong.

I am not yet a comando, call me a bandwagoner or whatever, i found out that the one profession i wanted from day 1 was so messed up that i worked on Terras Kasi and will soon be master.

As a TK i am very familar with this server lagency issue, we would chase a targetand be at 0m but kept getting an "target out of range" because what we saw was not what the server saw. So this is what is happening with Commandos IMHO ( the close range fighter of Ranged fighting)

BTW, if a TKM starts building up commando skills and absolutely wants Master regardless of any future changes do you vets out there still consider him a bandwagoner????

BTW this is a problem the Devs are aware of but have stated that it is unfixable... so to compensate they adjusted the range of TKs, so beware my friends that you NEED to alway reassure people that you cannot hit over 16m and tell them about this otherwise you may get hit with a range nerf to compensate for the SUPPOSED super range of commandos.
