Currently the HAR is of very limited use... go with the Heavy Weapons until it is fixed.

OR

Go up the tree now so you'll be 4 steps a head of everyone else when it IS fixed. Just understand that the boxes will be useless until the Dev's correct it.

i just made flame 4 and have no intention of going to master. not enough points. need those med skills and a basic CH tank. but i have enough for one total tree. 14 points. actually 15 free so 1 left over. anyway which is more valuable. acid rifle which i already bought but kinda sucks. the damage is slighty less but the animation from the gun is stupid, at least flame thrower looks cool, or heavy weapon support. i'd like to use a rocket launcher or heavy particle or heavy acid beam cannon. which i've never seen. with some accuracy and speed. i think these weapons might be the only help i can get against AT-ST's. can't get close enough to do flame specials and normal shot does squat after resists. hopefully they'll update the blast vulernability to them soon. but i just want to know which tree is better. sorry for the long post and punctuation mistakes. its late. thanks for the tips.

i would go heavy weapon support. if you can find someone to make you heavy partical beam cannons they are alot better than acid rifles. i have no acid rifle skills yet, and the few i have seen have less than 1k max damwhen a well made partical beams have more than 2k max dam. i hopethe acid rifle is moreuseful when i get more skills for it.
