whats so bad about it? its really easy to do and dont take that long, im trying to become a novice commando at the moment im 3444 on the marksmen scale and unarmed 4, i find rifles to be far more annoying, you attack really slowly and u miss so much, it takes ages to level those up while getting unarmed 4 with a vk is a piece of cake.

Rifle being slow?..Man you need to be more carefull with the weapons you buy.

I leveled up Rifle IV and novice rifleman with a DLT20a...a speed built one...

while unarmed...Unarmed is the weakest combat profession in the game until you hit Tera Kasi.

While other professions can hit for 1000+ before they reach novice..And fast too...With unarmed..you can barely hit for 200-300 with specials or berserk..this means you have to have Buffs and uber armorto even do this rapidly. Or else its killing chubas and womprats and nunas(dwarf) and durnis.....fo 100k+ XP...thats..ALOT of durnis

I would love to see a n00b affording that.

i still think its a lot quicker to do unarmed 4, i managed to get to unarmed 3 in about 2 hours without ne buffs.

im gonna have to say that rifles is alot easier than unarmed. if you use head shot 2 and spam it on sykes it goes super quick, unarmed on the other hand stinks. i wish i had your luck when going for unarmed 4. if you think unarmed for was easy try tk for a little bit.

Unarmed is easy when you get novice TKA....I found myself to use TKA more than commando..and found Novice TKA to be more efficient than Mcommando....

I kinda missed burning things..so now I have a Commando on Bria, whos going MCommando/Mrifleman...And a TC Commando, whos going MCommando/play....Meaning he is to SOLELY rely on commando skills..thus..He becomes a good tester of commando "fixes/upgrades"..as he cant hide beihnd a VK or a pistol or a rifle or a sword..etc

they say this because unarmed 4 and novice tka is probably 2 of the hardest combat boxes to grind in the game, its not hard really so i should change what i wrote above, its more of how time consuming it is to get 125k unarmed xp when you dont have vk cert but use it anyways to get the speed. try grinding the novice tka just for fun and see how fun it becomes

Me, personally I HATE the unarmed grind. And sadly I have done it on 3 servers with 3 different characters, and still hate it. Now to make matters worse, once I get Master Commando, I have decided that my next profession should be TKA. What am I thinking????? After UA4 I stopped, so of the 125k needed for novice TKA, I have.....431. lol

It's gonna be a LONG grind.

I must have did something wrong when I was leveling up in rifles because I spammed the headshots 1 and then 2 once I got it. Once I got the cert for it I was using a high quality laser rifle and all I did was miss, and miss and then miss some more. Going through unarmed wasnt hard just annoying and time consuming. Rifles though was just a pain for me.

If you're having trouble grinding rifles IV, just get a high end spraystick...works wonders...just like a pistol and great for short range. Plus the speedis great too
