i just thought of something. The devs are concentrating too much on Jedi just because they complain the most, or people complain a lot about not getting their slot. Eventually, this whole game will be Jedi battling against eachother, or people doing their FS quest missions, because the devs are losing people in every other profession due to the "grind" and due to people quitting because of all the broken professions.

Sorry Garvin, I couldnt wait any longer. I deleted my character and cancled my account. No offense devs, but if you listen to the fan boys first you lose. We have had issues for 8 months, no revamp, and about 5 nerfs. Yet droid engineer chef smuggler bh all have planned revamps. We are not getting any love for at least 2 more months. You guys need to stop focusing on jedi, and focus on the GCW and the combat balance. Im guessing your going with the fan boys, we want our jedi to appease them. But in the end you guys lose people like me, who 'were' dedicated to your game. You guys need to stick to the universe rules and stop making them up for the fan boys. Did you notice han solo killing the st when chewbacca had it. No he was about to give up and he is a bloody hero. Yet one rifleman and a st is gone? There are so many issues in terms of universe rules I could go on for a week. Garvin, good luck, I doubt any change made to help us will last more than 2 weeks when the fan boys complain. To the rest of the commando community, might as well become a rifleman/fencer only way you can compete pvp. Later, maybe ill see you in WOW, or Horizons.

Well I think the devs focus on Jedi is a bit silly, however, I think they want to get the hologrind out of the way. Despite all the complaints about combat, all I see in game are hologrinders. I think we will see a lot of Jedi battling each other. That seems what people really want.

Putting the Jedi issue aside, from my previous MMOG experience, most classes don't get a real look and see more than about twice a year and most are lucky if they get any changes once in a year. The devs of most games set up priorities and it gets done in that order. I'd think the Commando would be looked at again for the combat revamp. New features and such, may come much later. There are other profs that I'd put on the list before commando.

The current state of Jedi is bad for the game really. Hologrinders are parasites on game interaction and economy.

I understand his fustration, but it IS a good thing devs are getting rid of the holo grind. They admit thier mistake and want to get rid of it with a new system but coming up with a whoe system on paper, then coding it, testing it, and whatnot doesnt happen in a day.

As for the commando scene, well were just another combat class. There are other classes that kill stuff, where are theres only one droid engi, one smuggler ( which doesnt smuggle ) and so one. It shouldnt ever be a suprise were being fixed last with updates.

But I agree they should never listen to idiot fan boys. No single player should ever be able to take out an atst, turret, or anything that should logicly be the obvious winner, ie, Rancor, Krayt, Kimp, Nightsister.

The removal of permadeath showed that the devs wont keep anything set in stone no matter how long they say it. Permadeth = Jedi pop control. Without it, look what happened. This game is dubbed KOTOR but crappier. I wish i could slap what im typing now on paper and throw it in a devs face. I seriously dont think they realise what they did. Population control by losing skills doesnt cut it. People grind like theres no tomarow. What makes you think they WONT grind back up a single skill box.

They realy messed up so bad with this game. Real bad.... but were all still playing.. they must have done something right...

The only reason people still play is because its the only Star Wars MMORPG out there.

The continuity of the games timeframe is totally screwed up.

With so many Jedi, and Mandalore armour coming up, they should have set the game during the Mandalorian Wars.

Plenty of Jedi, and plenty of Mandalore. That would have been continuity.

The 'classic' era this game is set in has the potential to be a fun game, but the devs have made such terrible decisions and implemented such awful ideas that the classic era is now a joke.
