hey im a novice commando at the moment and only made it yesterday, for some reason today im getting hit by like 200s when normally when i equip my sword get hit like 80s, whats going on? does this always happend when you use flamethrowers? if so whats the point with commando if you die so soon after equipping a weapon.

When you have your sword equipped, you get your toughness modifiers. Despite the ideal ranges for our weapons being at melee range, and our specials limited to this range, we get no similar modifiers. Oh, and melee oppents have a 2.5x to hit modifier against you with any ranged weapon equipped.

LOL, I remember when I Mastered Commando thinking I would be Uber and I was asking this same question. But I'm still a master Commando and have no intention of dropping it. KD/Dizzy-Flamesingle2

Yeah. So when you hear someone say "Nerf Armor" or host a "No Armor" PvP event, just say NO. ...unless you have a melee profession you plan to use instead. As a commando, when you're holding you're only decent weapon, armor is about all you've got for protection.
