Thread: flame thrower and weapon power ups

Is it possible to put a power up on a flame thrower? For the life of me I'm not able to do it. I asked a few people in game and they told me it was possible, but I am unable to do it. I used my alt character to make 1 of each different type of ranged power up and I was unable to drop any of them on my flame thrower (I was able to drop them on my Launcher Pistol, rifles and pistols.) So were the people I talked to just miss informed... or am I doing something incredibly wrong. I even bought a second flame thrower, but still no luck.

Well, I'm pretty sure that I've looked on the main bazaar, went to powerups menu, and found a sub-menu titled "Heavy Weapons"!
This must mean that it would contain any powerups that work on all hvy weapons, but maybe the devs just made it where you could not use them on FTs cuz they are so wicked already.
Oh well, hope someone helps you out with this better than me 
I wanted to ask this as well.

There's also a thing on the bazzar for Armor powerups. Which don't exist. I'm pretty sure the only powerups that have been implemented are ranged and melee weapon powerups. If ranged don't work, than I don't think it's possible. Well, I suppose you could give melee a try. Couldn't hurt.

Can't do it. Best option is to get a good one and make it better with a Mater Smuggler slice. If you prove me wrong let me know it wouldn't be the first time and it would be great to use a power up on my flamer. heck might even make my HAR worth something. Had it for 5 months only fired it twice.

Nope. No powerups on Heavy weapons. Like the dude said, you can get your FT sliced, but that's it. The only Commando weapons you can put powerups on are the Launcher Pistol and Grenades (you rarely see these though).
