Good Day my fellow Commandos...I need help.

I suck at PVP... there I said it. It seems everytime I get into PVP I die...quickly. ITs sad really, I am a Master Commando and Master Rifleman, and I only last like 3 secs in a fight, every time. Fully armored and buffed and I am a joke. I dont get it. Its the Star Wars Universe and I am a MC AND MR and some guy with a stick beats me like a red headed step child. So I am asking anyone for ideas on what I should be doing (besides running away...which is so sad lol) that might give me more of a chance of survival.

It always seems that I am always getting dizzy and knocked down, but as a MR should I have enough defense against that? Sigh...just venting let me know what you guys think. As a Master Commando I can solo almost anything in PVE with Flame Dots, but I fear the guy with the stick.

Here's a few of my suggestions. Get some Thakitillo from your local Chef as that makes you very resistant KDs, though you still have to beware of people's posture changes. My biggest suggestion would be take a melee profession or pistoleer to get your defenses up. Even with Master Commando and Master Rifleman, a Fencer with a few points in another melee prof would easily have you beat with the amount of defenses he has.

If you're going to stick with ranged, you have to kite. It's the only advantage they have right now, and I beat a fencer or two using a geo blaster as master pistoleer/BH pistols with some ranger as I'd just run up-hill and kite the guy as he walked up.

I'm also on a bit of an odyssey right now, trying to make Commando a PvP viable profession. I'm just getting started though, but I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out.

How about Master Commando, Master Pistoleer, and Smuggler 0030 which would give you low blow and would also you all your skill points. Thats what I'm working on right now.

Well as he said the KD food helps, and the synthsteak i think its the one that makes you take less damage, and if your being beating by a stick man, its the stun that hurts ya, get an armor with some stun protection, and use the spice and an imperial PSG....hmmm these tip will take you pretty far, sadly as it is now pvp is all about armor and buffs, with a little of template stacking in the middle...

These are all good answers and do help, unfortunatly because we have all been nerfed a person w/a stick and novus medic can beat us if they are buffed.. When i pvp make sure you are in a good group w/a doc or cm.. That helps tremendiously.. Im finding that commando is better in groups than by themselves right now.

If your a master Riflemen you should not be getting owned in pvp. I am a riflemen/creature handler ( pets are useless for the most part in pvp, except for inducing states) and one on one i can take out the majority of people I pvp with. Try buying the best Jawa Ion rifle you can find, which should have around 275+ max damage, some decent armor and start spamming HS3
