There's no way I'd pay that much for this Launcher Pistol (or any LP).
The Condition is still good.
Speed is slow for a LP. This will not be a problem if you have speed from the Pistoleer profession.
Minimum Damage is a tad above average.
Maximum Damage is pretty good, definitely way above average.
Wounds are so-so.
On your scale of 1-10 for this auction, it's a 1.
Seriously, you can buy a pretty close LP with good speed but less damage. I have one that I bought for 6k from the Bazaar. Min. Damage was about high 60's with Max being like 269. The damage is nice on your auction one here, but the LP has no AP.
If I was generous and rich, I'd give 20k for being nice.

My apoligies, I was thinking of my Scout Blaster's speed (big difference... d'oh!). Anyways, LP pistols average around 2.6-2.7 speed, with mine being 2.7. This LP auction with a speed rtg of 2.3 is better, but that speed alone does not rate the outrageous price. I'm not sure how fast LPs can get.
It's still a 1 on the scale to me for that kind of money.
As for damage, the one I have with a good powerup has a min.damage of 93 and max.damage of 344. It's default wounding capability is 30.4%. Accuracy: 0m/pt blank= +0, 0m/Ideal= +17, 64m/max= +0. HAM Costs are 28, 63, 28. Condition is currently 811/841.
Remember, the LP doesn't have an AP rating. Even more of a reason to never shell out that money for it.

P.S.- Just so you know about my thinking process: I frown upon crazy auctions. Millions of credits for a single item? No way.

Most of these auctions...you're paying either for the slice or the potential to get a good slice....400k for an LP, especially at this time of age may be over the top a little, because of our lack of skills with it. Still, heh compared to other krayt weapons this is relatively cheap...but you're still paying a bit more for the slice - sometimes its better just buying it unsliced and getting it done by a smuggler who really averages a good slice here and there.
