Thread: Welp Does it look like we are waiting for nothing?

We have made a decision to address major combat issues only and not do the full combat balance at this time. After the Crafting Experimentation experience, we realized that we need to spend more time than a single publish to truly accomplish our goal, which is to make combat fun and engaging. To have the depth to combat that I think everyone wants in the system we want get much more player feedback and balance on these types of things. We will be developing the Combat Balance separately in a Sandbox over a long period of time, with plenty of Test Center and correspondent participation. We will release this one when it is ready... and not before.
So Due to the fact above they are not finishing the full combat revamp by pub 8. So are we considered one of the major issues? It does not sound like it to me. I read this today from Stratics and I am just so pissed. I was going to wait for this and see if I was going to play SWG after that. Im not waitin ganother 5 months for them to fix something they keep telliing us to wait for. Does any one have any info please post it I realy want to know if we are getting any thing any time soon.

The thing we will probably have to accept is that we won't be getting a major revamp in the next many patches...This doesn't mean that we can't get other things changed....We have already seen that the Consumable Weapons are being tested indoors on TC...that's good...
And I really believe we can get our Grenades fixed and enhanced without a revamp...Plus, maybe we can push for AT LEAST one of our tree's being revamped...I really think the HAR tree needs a complete overhaul...
All is not lost and I don't think things look entirely bleak...It may appear like we have a long wait to see love, but I for one am going to work on getting changes still happening while we wait...And maybe, just maybe, when the dev's look into the little changes we want, they'll see the bigger picture and realize just how much we need some MAJOR love...
