i was considering a +7 heavy weapon speed shirt but i hear they dont work, is this true?

is it something thats going to be fixed or changed? i mean should i buy it and hope for the best, or do you think they'll change it to something like flamethrower speed + 7?

We're hoping that they will be used in the future. The Commando Community is pushing for at least a mini-revamp, and have been told that we get a lot of changes with the Combat Balance. Heavy Weapon skill tapes may be among those.
