as posted in the Commando forum by a fellow Commando overfour months ago:


Sad to say, but I've seen far too many of my brother and sister commandos go down the path to false enlightenment, lead by the Glowing Boxes of Career Advice. This is wrong on so many levels, but I'm here to tell you you don't need to follow thisself-destructive path. No Commando need ever give up anything to unlock their force sensitive slot again. Here's why we have every skill a Jedi has and more!


Mind Tricks - *points flamethrower at Stormtrooper's chest* These aren't the droids you're looking for..


Impressiveweapon - After firing 8 Flamesingle2's in 40 seconds ofPVP, the flamethrower is around 3000 degrees which causes a very nice, happy glow. Flamethrowersabers come in red, light yellow-red, and white (for Master Commandos who use Flamesingle like it's going out of style)


Hokey Religion - We always carry the symbol of our religion, a Heavy Acid Rifle, in hopes thatwe will one day achieve the Flamethrower/HAR balancewe have sought since launch. This dedication tosomething wholly uselessbinds us and unites us.


Control of Time/Space - *opens up with Launcher Pistol on a crowded streetcorner* We can cause other people to be momentarily taken away from battle or knocked senseless while they have to reboot. We don't need the Force when we have 'The Lag'.


Expensive- Jedi have to by Holocrons, Krayt Pearls, and Force Crystals... We have to buy heavy weapons and grenades. Again and again and again.


Precognition - A Master Commando can predict many wounds in the future of anyone within 16m of our location. Unlike Jedi, we don't get planetary scale, but in single combat /flamesingle2 could be thought of as hearing 'a single voice cry out, then be suddenly silenced'. This prediction is true time and time again.



You see, my friends, we are far more impressive than any Jedi... and we can do all of their tricks. Anyone else know how Commando is better than Jedi?

What if they shoot at the FT itself and destroy it?

Hmm, I suppose we do have alot in common with jedi, now that I think about it. We both have one working weapon, and have nice damage, but if we get dizzy/KD'd we're screwed.

my 1.3 spd LP already causes lots of lag and i got novice pistoleer pistol spd skills

And just think, if master pistoleers ever get dual weild... Well, you know what profession is going to accompany commando. Maybe we'll be able to lag the servers back in time then!

evelas no not bump back when this was first made it was funy but not now becous we have to keep fouces on stoping the nerf bat and this only provokes it
