Well, are grenades supposed to be counted as melee attacks?

I know of course they go through saber block, but I noticed yesterday that toughness also seemed to be affecting them.

Any thoughts or perhaps a definite answer if it is supposed to be like this?

Did you have a weapon equip while using the grenade?
