Thread: Need help about this template master pistoleer + novice comando

i want to know if the launcher pistol worths being novice comando. i already have smuggler and BH pistols.

Not really. The LP is good, but not that good and no specials or anything come with it.

Eight Months ago it was a good build, but now more things have high blast resist. Unless you want a noisy gun that makes a lot of smoke. It's not worth picking up commando just for the gun unless you need a gun that can get a base max damage above 200 without AP1.

good for getting faction points cause if u have smuggler u can use launcher on the atst and also turrets and cause havic on imps and just feign death to get health back up and than finish it off for a measlly 14 faction points

i ran with the template of master pistoleer/0040 commando/0040 smugler from augest 2003 until mid june 2004. it was an extremely effective build up until the bleed nerf way back when. i cold stack my 2 pistol bleeds, and all my flame dot's for a tremendously huge amount of damage over time. since that nerf, the effectiveness has been SIGNIFICANTLY impaired, and i made due because it was a fun build, but i just couldnt take it anymore with 2 really messed up professions and still trying to stay as a top pvper so i eventualy dropped commando. stopping shot/last ditch + a launcher pistol at master commando will tear atst's and turrets apart. aside from that, its not really worth it. a 2.8 speed launcher pistol wont fire stopping shot at teh speed cap short of 91 speed on pistoleer, whereas master pistoleer is only 74 speed, and master marksman grants an additonal 5 speed up to 79, requiring 12 speed in mods to make it have any decent firing rate. because its got no ap, unless you REALLY like running around killing turrets like that (there are better ways....) its probbaly not worth it, as an ap0 weapon has very little use in pve, and zero use in pvp. the range mods suck on them too.


imho its either flame4/master commando/no commando or else its a waste of points unless you are just getting enough to slice a base.

It's great for taking out turrents nad AT-ST's, with a really good launcher (damage sliced and pupped) you can out damage rockets fired bby a commando easily with specials.
