Hi all a fellow master commando here
Just been on tc2 and decided to test commando/tka my main character template, it is my opinion now that this doesnt work in pvp at all.
Unfortunately pvp with commando is useless against defence stackers who are buffed and armoured, even using my tka skills were wasted due to the defences against the states i could put on them.
let me just say i wasnt beaten i was pwned, big time, the person i pvp'ed with was nice to let me have a few duels with her and try different things out and use different tactics and then sit and talk about the fight.
My findings are simple for all the sp I have used becoming commando it really doesnt make any sense why we have no defences and protection against melee, The pitiful defences we do get make very little difference.
Commando's for me are gcw which means pvp, and this is the one thing they suck at.
Im trying not to be negative about a profession i have had so much fun with but when ive used others i have been more powerful and spending less sp and yes i do want to have fun in the game but getting my butt kicked on a regular basis isnt fun. If people can put a positive slant and reveal a light at the end of the tunnel, please dont mention the revamp this is too far off to be of any interest to me I pay £15 a month and want to enjoy the game now.

Preaching to the choir here. Some of us are going to be testing out the Combat Revamp in the sandbox, and we fully intend to get Commando in a position where it will be a Good PVP profession, and one where fights with equal Skill Point Commando Templates vs other combat Templates should come down to things like player skill and tactics. No idea when this'll be happening, unfortunately

I hope they do find a way to improve commando in sandbox, its the profession i have really enjoy using and want to use but this excludes me from pvp which is what gcw is all about.
