Why in the hell am I crashing when I Use my launcher pistol!??! Im attacking gurks with the launcher pistol and all of sudden I get "Lost Connection" and I have to exit the game! This is crazy! I have to usemy 6 second attack acid rifle that I miss almost every attack instead of using my launcher pistol because I crash when I use it. I have 2 gigs of memory and use Geforce 5950. SO I dont know what tthe problem is.

Could be your connection.
What are you running, 56k, dsl, cable, or something else?

Is your physics detail turned all the way down?
That might help.

In your graphics options, make sure the feature 'shake' is turned off. The graphical screen shake animation is often what causes crashes on client machines when around commando's using launcher pistols, or many large creatures.

Im using Cable going at 3000kbps. I turned all my graphics to low bare min and even took off the shake. Still disconnects me. ANy other suggestions? I appreciate all your help from everyone, this is what a community should be like.

Well, if it's cable and your settings have all been set to the minimum, the only other things I can think of are...
a) Maybe you're running too many processes. Use ctrl + alt + del to see what you're running, and shut down anything that isn't needed. My comp tries to run 27 processes on it's own, but I shut down 8 of them, dropping it to 19. Running SWG itself makes 20. If you're not sure about what processes you need and what you don't, search google for a site called pac's portal. The site will have a list on it of virtually all computer processes shown in ctr/alt/del, as well as what they do.
b) Virus scan, maybe. You could have something on your system, like a trojan maybe.
c) Ad-aware scan. Spyware, if any is present can be a major pain in the ass to system connections.
d) If you have any aol software on your machine aside from AIM, delete it, even if you don't use aol. Sounds silly, I know, but I found on my last computer that it was the aol software that kept disconnecting me and randomly rebooting my machine, despite the fact I was using Bellsouth as my isp. I thought it was just a problem unique to me, until a friend had the same thing start happening to him. Purging our systems of all aol software (except for AIM) brought an end to all the instability issues.

Thanks. I have no Viruses or ad-awares. I even turned off in game sound and I still get diconnected.

Are you using DirectX 9.0c?
Are you using the very latest NVidia drivers? If so you might try rolling back to a previous version if you have upgraded recently and are having these problems.
Are you using XP SP2? Check the tech forums for possible issues and fixes.
That's all I got right now, but this would really be better asked in the tech forums as well.

something that it might be is that i know if u go and like spam sayin somethin it disconnects u from the game(as in logs u out, not crashes) what i take from what ur sayin is that it logs u out and in that case it has absolutly nothing to do with ur computer, your internet is a whole other story, what is the speed on ur LP and what is the delay on the attack? if its a short delay and a fast LP mayb the game is recognizing that as a spam (i belive the LP shoots out 6 projectiles with everyshot, and at longer ranges u can see them, they look like long lines that almost helix around in the air) and thus logs u out, u should hand that LP off to another person (mayb a master pistoleer) or something have them shoot it off a bit and see what happens, beyond that i have no idea really just check ur internet connection, mayb the info for the animations pushes ur connection over the edge
