Waiting for the Combat Revamp docs takes me back to sitting in school, watching the clock, waiting for it to hit 3pm so Summer Vacation can start...
So I figured I'd give you all another assignment while we wait for the docs to start getting posted (when ever that might be)...
If you could choose one thing (you can have more then one if you want)you'd love to read in any of the CR Docs, what would that one thing be?
Example (and this doesn't mean it's in any of the CR Docs):
Commandos will be able to dig Fox Holes during GCW battles for extra Anti-Accuracy protection
You don't have to be professions specific...you could post something like...
After someone is DB'd, the winner will do an animation of themselves digging a grave, putting them in it, and then dancing on the grave a fun little jig...
So what is something you would love to read in the upcoming Combat Docs (also doesn't have to be completely serious...as in my above suggestions)? Remember that the Docs include all aspects of combat including armor, ham, weapons, profession specifics, overall combat, etc...
PS...While I was speaking with TH at the Summit he did say that he has enjoyed lurking in our Assignment Threads...So maybe he'll see one of your ideas here, think it's so great, and get them to put it in...you never know...

some sort of trophy for pvp'ing. like garvin's ear or spine. to show off your pvp prowress.

Either Jedi brought in balance with other combat professions or bring back skill box loss upon Deathblow.

That armor protections will increase with armorsmith skill level, not armor type.
I would love to wear chitin into battle again.

People with a flame DoT on them actually apear to be on fire (ie, nice bold, big particle affect that envelops their entire body!) and when after the first tick, it makes their character scream, "AHHHHHH! IT BURNS! IT BURNS!!"

I would like to see speed caps for proffesions changed a bit, ie., reguardless of skill mods a rifle would cap at 3 second speed a carbine at 2 a pistol at 1.... The current 1 sec cap is too easy to acheive by most of the combat proffesions with the use of stacking or just a very few AA/CA's.
I am not saying to use these exact numbers but weapons should have different speed caps to balance the DPS output if they can all hit 1 sec pretty easily then the big incentive is to pick the proffesion that has the most dam,. This inbalanceis one reason the rifleman appear to be so strong now.Riflesdo huge damage when compared to a pistol for instance.and they can easily fire at the same speed as a pistoleer.

In the revamp, a character on fire will have a state effect (Intimidate, stunned) from the fact he is focused on BURNING not fighting.

In the revamp, it will be necessary to visit your corpse to retrieve uninsured items.

In the revamp, Commando's will deal slightly more Damage per Second than any other profession.

BEFORE the revamp, as a temporary fix, Kempe's suggestion of different caps for rifle, caribineer, pistoleer will be implemented to help fix the game in the short term.

In the revamp, Commandos will be able to effectively participate in the high level dungeons (DWB).
