Startnig up after a few month hiatus, and i want to go back to master commando again. Got master marksman, and working on UA 4 now, and i got to thinking, would taking defense abilities (like melee mitigation) from TKA work while i use commando weapons?

Thanks

I don't think they do. You would have to unequip your weapon for it to work.

the passive defenses work though, might I suggest going 0/0/4/4 pistoleer? you will need those mods, trust me.

Not sure about the mitigation, but the melee and ranged defense will always be there which you'll definitely need lots of as a commando. But if you went tkm you would be much, much tougher unarmed. For example, as a tkm/commando unarmed I can run into say a high end janta/mokk lair and do just fine without any armor. However, if I were to run into that same mission with my flamethrower equipped I die in about 5 seconds if I'm not wearing any armor. Its due to in tkm you get unarmed toughness, but in commando you have no such mod, so your defensive capabilities are very lacking.
